House Prepares To Re-Start Immigration Debate (Bohener's Amnesty Conference Wed 7/10!)
ABC News ^ | 7/8/10 | MICHAEL FALCONE

BOEHNER’S NEXT MOVE: The immigration debate is now squarely in the House of Representatives, with the Senate overwhelmingly passing its version of a comprehensive bill before the congressional break. ABC’s RICK KLEIN notes that House leaders will begin to chart their next steps this week with a special meeting of House Republicans on Wednesday. Speaker John Boehner will ultimately face the big choice: Whether to support a path to citizenship or notbut until then there are plenty of little questions. Will the bipartisan “gang” in the House break through with something like a similar group did in the Senate?

If the buffoons on Capitol Hill don’t have anything better to do that debate amnesty for the population of Mexico, it might be time to send them home for a while.

My bet is that bonehead will bend and break - maybe even without crying.

And by doing so, he will have effectively destroyed the (rotten) republican party....and perhaps have done us a favor after all.

My bet is there is more than adequate conservative strength to carry the day and prevent introduction passage of the Senate bill

A house bill will tie he President in knots and provide chains and shackles.

“But there is another less-discussed reason. The Obama administration’s instinctive dishonesty and contempt for the rule of law are finally catching up with it. Few Republicans in the House — even those who devoutly want immigration reform — trust the Obama administration to enforce with consistency and integrity anything that passes Congress.”

“Ultimately, the greatest damage from delaying the employer mandate may come in the way it solidifies House Republican doubts about the immigration bill. Representative Phil Roe (R., Tenn.), chairman of an Education and Workforce subcommittee, says that he doubts the administration can be trusted to enforce the will of Congress when it comes to border security or any other part of the immigration bill. “They have shown no respect for traditional Constitutional separation of powers, and that makes it difficult to pass laws where the fear is that they will simply ignore the parts they don’t like,” he tells me. The Obama administration has not hesitated to simply ignore the clear language of Obamacare. Why wouldn’t it disregard the immigration bill in the same way? In addition, the Gang of Eight bill is stuffed with instances of discretion – in other words, opportunities for administrative meddling. It includes 222 mentions of the word “may” and 153 uses of “waive.” That’s an awful lot of discretion to hand to an administration that is expert at interpreting laws creatively to suit whatever political advantage it desires.”

The Republican party only needs a simple litmus test...If Chuck Schumer is for it, then it is bad for everybody.

That filthy pariah, should be tamed and tamed hard by the house, but the gay crybaby from Ohio is ascared.

Seriously, the entire world is punking Soetero to the point of absurdity, but our congress cowers to this loser.

He has no political capital whatsoever...to the point the loser Bushes are out in full force supporting this clown.

I hate the republicans.

John Boehner is working hard for Obama’s agenda.

Bend and break? He’s absolutely salivating at fooling and strong-arming and bribing and giving political cover to the conservative ‘rubes’ among his membership.

Does anyone know how Rience Pribus (?) was “elected” to lead the Republicans?

Is a new, less-corrupt process needed?

No, a ‘better’ House bill will only give our feckless Congress critters cover, as it goes to reconciliation after passage and comes back as the Senate amnesty version.

Any House immigration bill this term is a complete disaster.

I don’t and don’t particularly care, for what it’s worth.

I was a republican. Not now, not ever again.

For all I care the guy with the stupidest name ever is some sort of gay scoutmaster that the republicans think will get them votes.

That’s the plan... get it into reconciliation.

Boehner is Obama’s right hand man. He MUST go!!!!!!

The Republican leadership treats the base the same way the mobs treated Reginald Denny. The Tea Party elections in 2010 were a refutation of Obama and PPACA. Repubs screwed every one. Then they jammed Romney down our throats. Now they’re pushing Obama’s amnesty agenda. Issue after issue after issue. How many times do they have to break concrete blocks over our head before we figure it out: they hate us.

“He can paint himself orange and go back to Ohio...”

Well, Obama got one thing right when he called Boehner our first “Orange Speaker”. But, back to topic; this immigration bill coming out of the House will be Boehner’s crucible. If he caves on this to the Senate he’s out as Speaker and should just go back to Ohio and his family business, whatever that may be.

Boehner has got to go. He can not be trusted. He has said that he wants “immigration reform”. He has every intention of getting it.

The damage from amnesty can not be undone. We can not risk it. Boehner absolutely must go now.

Sadly this isn’t new information....yet how many in the House voted for him to be speaker? Oh yeah...almost all of them.

I tell every “republican” fund-raiser who calls me that I am too unhappy with the leadership of the party MACHINE to contribute to the excessive pay-checks of out-of-touch RINO consultants.

I understand that demoralizing us patriots is an much-desired objective of the ‘progressives’ — so I am sorry to find myself marching to their tune.

However, government by RINOs didn’t work out very well.

I wonder if we patriots should try to convene an un-official GOP Convention?

Hence my disgust. I’m done with these clowns.

F&F, AP, IRS, NSA, Benghazi, scandal after scandal and all they can talk about is THEIR plan for Obama’s Amnesty Agenda?

They want to arm Al Qaida in Syria! Incredible!

They won’t defund PPACA, they let Obama illegally change it’s implementation date, they let him pick and choose which laws to enforce, on and on. Absolutely no opposition whatsoever. And the #1 priority? Amnesty.

What is wrong with these people?
