Exactly my first thought. He carries on about not sticking his nose into government all these years, but finds it necessary to do so now, in support of amnesty yet again?
“So W finally decides to stick his nose back into government, and he chooses this issue? .”
No, Bush tried to stick it to us in his second term with amnesty, but we melted the phones in congress.

He also chose gay marriage (criticizing conservatives). So he’s two for two.

Why, oh why, did we ever elect this a$$hole? The only justification was that his opponents were worse, but that’s no excuse for the Republicans running this turd! He was a lousy president, and I hate to admit that those who said he was “not bright” were right. Finally, through his inactions ( he was essentially a one issue president, the war, and he failed at that) he handed the presidency to a Maxist half-breed! Way to go GOPe! And to think I sat up nights worrying that he might loose, both times.
All these years Bush was attacked but he stayed silent and now amnesty comes up and he decides to come out and speak up .
The elitist ruling class establishment of this country make me sick and the sooner Dems and R’s understand that they care nothing about this country and think of this as a game where we the voters are just idiots who have to follow because we’re always told that the other side the better.
Just more proof that we haven’t a Republican party since 1989 when Reagan left office. We have Democrat 1 and Democrat 2 which is why the country has gone to hell and will only get worse until a 3rd party fights back.
