I liked Bush’s first term. Second one? Not so much. He disarmed conservative arguments and reasons for voting republican. We couldn’t justify it. And it all started with this immigration crap if you remember. That is when the downhill slide began. Lost congress, then we lost the presidency. I mean, we ran John McCain in the most crucial election this country ever had.

El Presidente Jorge Arbusto may have been the worst Presidente on illegals ever. Even including the current usurper.

Just more proof that we haven’t a Republican party since 1989 when Reagan left office. We have Democrat 1 and Democrat 2 which is why the country has gone to hell and will only get worse until a 3rd party fights back.

The global ruling class elite are all for the New World Order because they are planning on being on top of all the peasants.

There are some things just beyond my comprehension. It's abundantly clear that Conservatives and business should be on the same side since common foes are peaceniks, an intrusive government, liberalism, Occupy Wall Steet, homosexuality, abortion, high taxes, muzzies, regulations, unions and the minimum wage.

Yet why does the business community break with real Conservatives on this vital issue? It's in business' best interest to have secure borders and prosperous Americans. Otherwise good people and organization such as Bob Perry (homebuilder and the key player in the Swift Boat Veterans) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce seek to destroy America by granting criminal invaders amnesty.

From my perspective, Conservatives are on the side of pro-growth, free enterprise and capitalism. Yet, the business community spurns the people who support them. It's a real and ultimately dangerous disconnect. Business is siding with the wrong people by embracing the lowlifes of the 47%.

My post is *about* class warfare--the warfare of the lazy rich BREAKING THE LAW (in capitals since you missed that essential point)--because they don't want to pay an honest wage for a lawful resident or citizen to work. IMO, the rightful punishment would be to scrub a lot of toilets.

Search up "Bush White House Immigrant Servant Scottie the dog"--where the Bush family got all sentimental about the pooper scooping flunky, but when asked about her immigration status, they refused to answer. Should be around 2007.

“The legislative process can be ugly,” Bush said with a chuckle in an interview aired today on ABC’s “This Week.”

Yeah, Dubya, real f*n funny. This is real or a parody? Tell me that idiot didn't really say this.

In 2000 Gore looked bad, and after 9/11 I was sure we were blessed to have W instead of AlGore. Looking back with the wisdom of hindsight, and the imminent total collapse of W's autistic foreign adventures before us, I take it back.

We would have been better off in the long run with Gore2000 than with Bush. After four years of Gore's psychotic excesses, which could hardly have turned out worse than the Bush fiascoes, we could have elected a serious adult in 2004.

What enabled McCain and Romney and other RINO candidates in other GOP primaries is the splitting of conservative votes by having multiple challengers talking conservative.

This is done by the GOP-E to enable the RINO to win the primary.

I support two conservative candidates running with one in the GOP primary and the other in the general as a third party if the RINO wins the primary.

We would have been better off in the long run with Gore2000 than with Bush.

I think everyone here can agree that although 9/11 happened during the Bush presidency, albeit just a few months in, the stage for the act itself was due to Klintoon and his liberal cabal of incompetents. Bush, Cheney and the entire administration acted with courage and wisdom in its aftermath. In short, I see 9/11 as another Klintoon monstrosity that George W. Bush cleaned up.

As for the limp-wristed Gore, 9/11 would have been egregiously mishandled. He would have shown weakness by apologizing and dithering. There would have been unspeakable destruction on 9/12, with Chicago and Los Angeles attacked. Further attacks would have occurred in the days after both on domestic sites and overseas where our military has presence. I have real doubts that America as it know it would have survived into October 2011 under an ineffectual, anti-military Gore regime.

I don’t think politics is the most important thing,
but when it comes to politics there is nothing wrong with a third party that incorporates religious conservatives and secular libertarians and says there is a place for the views of both to be respected and not be persecuted or prosecuted.

A party that is against big government, pro-business but anti crony capitalist (businesses that conspire with government to gain an advantage) and says no to amnesty for illegals and no to spying on every American. That spying is now supported by both parties.

Why, oh why, did we ever elect this a$$hole? The only justification was that his opponents were worse, but that’s no excuse for the Republicans running this turd! He was a lousy president, and I hate to admit that those who said he was “not bright” were right. Finally, through his inactions ( he was essentially a one issue president, the war, and he failed at that) he handed the presidency to a Maxist half-breed! Way to go GOPe! And to think I sat up nights worrying that he might loose, both times.

Great comments & worth repeating. What an a$$Hole! I despise GW Bush only a smidgeon less than 0dumb0shit! Pretty much everything that 0dumb0 is doing to destroy our freedoms & our formerly once great nation, was initiated & set in place by socialist-lite, dumber than dirt doofus GW Bush!

Still, if we will do the heavy lifting on our own, I suspect He will make sure that is enough. God wants us to be free . . . if we are willing to earn it.

I just hope it won't take 430 years, like it did for God to hear the cries of the nation of Israel & to throw off the yoke of Egyptian bondage and then spend another 40 years wandering in the wilderness of Sin. I don't think I can last that long! LOL!

Executive summary: Wife of Florida governor Jeb Bush

- In June 1999 Columba Bush was thwarted at Altanta International Airport attempting to smuggle $19,000 in French clothing and jewelry into the United States without declaring the purchases.

- Despite the fact that the U.S. customs officers gave her two opportunities to amend the form, Bush declined. Then they found the receipts in her purse. Bush wrote a check for $4,100 to cover the fine (three times the duty amount) and went on her way.

- A few days later she claimed her crime had been entirely “inadvertent”, calling it “an awful mistake” and declaring:

“It’s an “accident” and I regret it with all my heart that I got caught.”

That’s too bad. I was hoping that he would have noticed those of us who left the party BECAUSE of his push for immigration “reform.”

Who’s we? We? Don’t include me in your corrupt political party.

I'd be happy to hijack the Republican Party from the corrupt insiders who control far too much of that party today, and I know we could do it. I'd be happy to hijack the Democrat Party from the union thugs, the communists, the NAMBLA perverts, and the parasites who control it today, but we would fail if we tried.

"We" is Americans. As Americans, we have a moral obligation to pass on a free country to the next generation, just as our parents and grandparents did for us. I also, like many on FR, voluntarily took an oath. That oath, to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foriegn and domestic", adds an additional moral responsibility. If that oath means we have to take the Republican Party back from those who control it today, I don't think that is too much to ask.
