Is Obama Backing ElBaradei?

According to well-connected Washington sources, one being a Congressional staffer whose job description includes following political events in Egypt, it did not take Mohamed Mustafa ElBaradei, the Sharia legal scholar, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, and for 12 years the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) (1997-2009), very long at all to contact the Washington, DC law firm of Patton Boggs on 7/2/13. That is once it became evident that Egyptian President Mohamad Morsi might well be ousted by Egypts Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF). The next day, ElBaradeis representatives reportedly also made contact with the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations which claims to represent the 52 largest US based largest Jewish groups.

ElBaradeis campaign, as reported in the 4/4/13 edition of the New York Times also worked hard to convince the White House of what he called the necessity of forcibly ousting President Morsi, presenting several arguments that included documentation that Morsi had bungled the countrys transition to an inclusive democracy and wasted a year without following thru on any of his pledges or addressing the problems of:

Morsi Spurned Deals, Seeing Military as Tamed
EXCERPTS
The foreign minister said he was acting as an emissary of Washington, the advisers said, and he asked if Mr. Morsi would accept the appointment of a new prime minister and cabinet, one that would take over all legislative powers and replace his chosen provincial governors.
(snip)
His top foreign policy adviser, Essam el-Haddad, then left the room to call the United States ambassador, Anne W. Patterson, to say that Mr. Morsi refused. When he returned, he said he had spoken to Susan E. Rice, the national security adviser, and that the military takeover was about to begin, senior aides said.
Mother just told us that we will stop playing in one hour, an aide texted an associate, playing on a sarcastic Egyptian expression for the countrys Western patron, Mother America.

Mr. Morsis advisers had meetings with Ms. Patterson and her deputy as well as a phone call with Ms. Rice, the national security adviser. Mr. Morsis advisers argued that ousting the president would be a long term disaster for Egypt and the Arab world because people would lose faith in democracy. They said it would set off an explosion in the streets that they could not control.
And they argued that the United States was implicated: Nobody who knows Egypt is going to believe a coup could go forward without a green light from the Americans.

Corker: We should try to remain calm and call for calmness in the ME. Calm. Calm. Calm.

Roberts: Is anyone willing to listen to the US?
Good morning AB, All.
Happy 4th of July and AB, as always, thank you for doing this thread.
Goodness I’ve been receiving much reaction to my book. Later on I shall include links to chapter 1 and 2 and yes, I am almost done Chapter 3.
Daughter moved in across the street and already nothing-burger son-in-law is getting on my nerves. If you tell anybody I said this I shall deny.
It is, in fact, the reason why I bought them a separate house; my house is big enough for all of us, frankly, but living with him would drive me nuts.
He is-on the plus side- a very devout conservative and a very good father.
Daughter comes over and stays with me evenings when we watch Big Brother and the like. I said to Kaitlyn last night “You want to sleep over with Mom-Mom?” First, it was so nice to be able to say that. She jiggle a bit with joy, her nine-year-old self, and said she’d love it.
I am so glad they are not two and a half hours away. Now they live in the greatest place in the world to live .Sussex County Delaware.
Would y’all like a liberal story?
Went to a meeting the other night, one attendee is President of some kind of union-or used to be, not sure-and worked closely with our governor. He is , like, really out of his element here in Sussex County where we don’t like liberals, especially those from up Wilmington way.
So I tell the story of how daughter moving to Sussex county where the weather is great and getting the hell out of Merryland where they’re killing people with taxes.
He nods, this dolt from up Wilmington way who is living, please note yon readers...IN SUSSEX COUNTY AND NOT WILMINGTON-and says something like “Sussex county is cheap, that’s for sure.”
I lost it, folk. But I lost it nicely.
“Bob,” I said, consternation on my face, “you say it’s ‘cheap’ like that’s a bad thing. CHEAP is kind of derogatory. We have low taxes, don’t be so condescending.” But I was on a roll. “I notice,” voice dripping sarcasm, “that you are living in Sussex county and not that mini-Philadelphia known as Wilmington, Delaware.”
I was incensed. Liberals don’t want to admit that their way isn’t the right way.
What do all the far left regimist and many rinos all have in common? A huge lust for dough.
In this case we know the Saudis have plenty as does Soros. If we make connections to see who is getting what for what deed it could be instructive.
Additionally one would have to be incredibly naive to believe that the father of modern terrorism for decades The Muslim Brotherhood,a terrorist clearing house of sorts, would be the one to support in Egypt. And, then give them money and arms, planes when they win.
There is only one way you do a deed like that. You yourself are a terrorist/communist using terrorists or simply want to see the fall of the US and sharia rule worldwide.
All three fit the val/jar regime. As for George Soros he desperately wants to see the fall of the US possibly so he can play the ultimate currency scam.
There is evidence the “rebellion” and overthrow of Mubarak was planned a year in advance with the “Days of Rage” visit by Billy Ayers, et. al. to Gaza and Egypt, in which Billy, Bernadine and others “instructed” the MB on how to launch the uprising.
And then there is the matter of Huma Abedin Weiner, confidante and agent provocateur inside the al Rodham State Dept. Not since the Moscow-created “Palestinian” Yasir Arafat has the Muslim movement planted an agent so deeply inside the confines of western power.
At this point, though, there has to be a fair amount of desperation inside the Soros-sponsored cell of conspirators, aka the Obama admin and friends.
Because—shock of all shocks! Billy’s “way” to power mirrors Lenin’s. Such “governments” are doomed to collapse before they are even fully formed. Why, the writing is even all over the (Berlin) wall.
The key is to not troll on a thread which is based on regulars commenting on the RATagandists...
NOOB!
John McCain is a collaborator.
The real question..when, or if, or will.
Jeb and Marco out?I doubt it.
It’s easy to say some three years before an election that you won’t run(unless they tear down your door and force you to save the country—Superman style).I’ll wait to see what actually happens should we have a brokered convention.
BRAY...
What an eloquent analysis of a very complex situation! Can’t wait for your book.
“They made signs mocking him and Hilary while calling for America to wake up to this tyrant, but apparently only people who get the full dose of his policies can understand what they are.”
Well put. As long as Obozo gives them free stuff, many Americans have NO CLUE what lies ahead for them. the free stuff is a product of those still working in the capitalist system. I don’t see a lot of people in Cuba with I-phones, LED TV’s and $200 sneakers.
But then, its easier to watch American Idol than read or learn about history and politics, let alone economics.
Wow, talk about like minds!Good one Tom .
EXCELLANT POST.
Planes to the MB? Oh, that’s going to work out really well.NOT.
