The city of Sanford, Florida, already has a secret law-enforcement plan to deal with potential riots and unrest in the wake of a possible acquittal of George Zimmerman. Miami has efforts to keep the peace underway as well.
Across America, pundits and analysts have been warning that a “not guilty” verdict in the controversial case could set off an explosive wave of deadly violence rivaling the mass riots that ensued following the 1992 Rodney King trial. If mayhem does strike, analysts say the establishment media, President Obama, and assorted race-profiteers would bear much of the blame.
Well before the verdict is announced, agitators and provocateurs are already using social-media services to broadcast their intentions to unleash chaos and death. One Facebook page being investigated by authorities, for example, was entitled “RIOT for Trayvon.” In its description, the page read: “They don’t think we will tear this mutha ----- [expletive deleted] up! LIKE IF YOU READY TO RIDE! LETS FLEX OUR MUSCLE! WHAT, YOU SCARED?” Other pages brazenly call for murder.
On Twitter, meanwhile, violent messages from self-styled Trayvon Martin supporters have also been calling for violence, mayhem, and killing if the jury refuses to convict Zimmerman of second-degree murder — a prospect that appears increasingly likely as the prosecution’s case implodes. Twichy, a site that compiles tweets related to major news stories, collected a sample of some of the messages, more than a few of which include racist remarks aimed at Zimmerman, whites, and Hispanics.
“If #Zimmerman get off ima shoot the first #hispanic/white i see,” reads one such message. "Trayvon Martin need justice! Gimme me tha pistol ill kill Zimmerman myself!" says another. "If Zimmerman win, I'm gonna go kill a white a kid by mistake," reads a third.....

They have been threatening to riot for years now. So far just some racist lynch mob action and store raiding.
The endless threats from the left makes the Rinos squeal and cower. If it’s going to happen AGAIN, let’s get it over with so America can see what we they are dealing with in Obama’s Race Hate Utopia. Hope Jamie Foxx and Spike Lee, the big fat mouth racists, are in the middle of it all - up close and personal.
Regardless of who wins, criminals and slugs will use a win or a loss as justification to loot....celebration or anger really doesn’t matter when you want a big screen TV and pampers. It’s all just an excuse encouraged by the race-baiters, and sanctioned by the media.
I predict a hung jury that the state will huff and puff about re-trying, but will never happen.
The prosecution’s case is so laughable; as has been demonstrated by every “Star Prosecution witness” actually bolstering the defense’s case...and they have rested their case. Just wait until the defense get’s it’s turn at bat.
If the defense is clearly destroying the prosecution, and it looks like a certainty of winning the case, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a mistrial declared due to some jury irregularities... or self-inflicted legal technicality on the part of the prosecution. Kicking the can down the road and diffusing the situation is probably the smartest move if you are the government.

The defense motion has to be on record, and be denied , so that it can be addressed after the trial.
From what I have read, in almost every case previously, where an appeal for dismissal (JOA) was made, it was denied.

You are right on the mark. During the riots in Chicago during the Democrap convention in the late 60’s there was a camera crew of one of the big 3 MSM all set up to view the chaos. While they waited, nothing at all happened. Finally the camera crew said to a young black kid there, “you haven’t done anything that we could see, why don’t you pick up a rock or something and throw it.”

The State of Florida has enough egg on it’s logo, to look as if all the seagulls in the state were to have a day of dysentery!!!
The State of Florida, in its ineptitude, just might let Zimmerman go, and close their eyes to see what the crowd does.
If the crowd, which I am sure they will, starts rioting, it is time to thin out the herd. Period. Stand and defend your property and your family. Stay on your yard, and stop them at the fence. Should they be stupid enough to start driving by, I am sure there might be a few autos with big holes in them, from ‘somebody’.

If the Sanford PD didn’t have a plan in the event of an acquittal they’d be totally irresponsible. What the plan consists of is, I think, the ‘secret.’
I would imagine any number of cities across the US, big and small, have plans at least on paper.

I’m very interested in Obama’s reaction if/when Zimmerman is acquitted and if/when rioting breaks out. Any chance of quickly quelling a riot would be greatly aided by his calling for peace through a major address, if not his going to Florida personally (which is probably unrealistic for security reasons).

I somehow don’t believe that BO would “call for peace” to quell any riots. Instead, he’d see the divisiveness as a way to build political capital for himself.

I just worry they will vote guilty for fear of retaliation.
When you get into martial law territory, plenty of people are doing what they “can’t” do - and plenty of people are finding that the can’t do what they “can” do.
