On Tuesday, William W. Taylor III, attorney for Lois Lerner, the IRS official at the center of the Tea Party targeting scandal who invoked her Fifth amendment rights before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on May 22, set forward his client's hard line conditions to return and testify openly before the committee.
"They can obtain her testimony tomorrow by doing it the easy way … immunity. That’s the way to resolve all of this," he told Politico.
Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH), a member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee was unimpressed. "We hope she comes in and gives us the truth and answers questions. If that doesn’t happen, then you cross the next bridge. … If she says, ‘No, I’m going to come in and assert my Fifth Amendment rights again and not going to speak,’ then you think about what the other options are."

The most she should be granted immunity on is jaywalking on her way to testify. Let this miserable government oppressor answer questions. She can either tell the truth or lie and risk perjury charges.

Would any one of us be able to claim immunity if we were tried for any crime?
One of my oldest friends is an Obama lover. I sent him an email recently outlining all of the seditious, criminal, homosexual and treasonous activity the Hussein regime engages in, condones, and supports in its fomenting of the 3rd worlding of America. I accused him of not only condoning it, but embracing it. I further stated that all who continue to support Hussein should be stripped of their citizenship. I haven’t heard back from him..
I read her desire for immunity is to protect her from a different interpretation of what constitutes right and wrong if you are just following orders from your superiors.
I yield to more learned people than myself on this subject. I may be totally wrong.
There was a time when she would rot in jail until she was ready to talk.

Offer immunity, and then, right before she testifies, announce that you have new information that requires you to withdraw the offer of immunity. Make her sit there goggle-eyed for awhile in front of the cameras. Two can play this game.
I don’t trust her. Congress should not fall for this.
