Seems like there’s some sane people in the Catlin school district, they’re not going along with Michelle’s folly.
Moochelle, being a leftist with the usual leftist proclivities towards oppression (and hypocrisy), couldn’t choose something like “literacy” for her First Lady cause. No, she had to choose something where she could exercise her fascist tendencies towards telling people how they must live, even down to what they eat. The hypocrisy is in the fact, that like any leftist, she doesn’t abide by her own rules. She’s hardly any objective person’s idea of the “body healthy”. We’re just supposed to ignore that, like we’re supposed to ignore all the nakedness of Moochelle and Obozo, empress and emperor of Cloud Cuckoo Land.
That’s just another angle in the left’s drive to gain control over everyone’s children. They use the “carrot” and the “stick” in this drive. So many of their constituents are “non breeders”, they have to get their claws on other people’s children for the future.
I’ve heard leftists propose that children (other people’s, of course) should now be required to go to “pre pre-school”. They’d like to use people as mere breeding conduits while taking their children at birth and raising them as good little serfs.
I was talking to a friend of mine who is a dietician and she was telling me that this plan was ridiculous on so many levels. She said that this was a basically a one-size-fits-all menu and that is absurd. She said that each person’s nutritional needs are different. What might work for one person won’t necessarily work for another. One example she gave was with student athletes. According to her; students who play sports require a higher caloric intake than a non-athlete.
As always with the Federal Government this is about power and control.
You want Federal tax dollars? You feed the kids what we say.
You want Federal tax dollars? You teach the kids what we tell you to.
You want Federal tax dollars? You push the social agendas we tell you to.
Private school or home school are the only ways to go.

Correct. Control the mush-brain kids and “train” them right from the get go. The more they depend on the govt, they eventually vote Dumocrap.
In those days, you had to turn in your tray clean of leftovers for a dessert plate. No desert if you had leftovers.
It was amazing what we could stuff in those empty cartons. Once in awhile, there was one of those lunch ladies who was so mean (and so good) she could tell by the thud which milk cartons were stuffed full. She would fish them out of the trash, empty them out and tell you to finish it up if you wanted desert.
