More than a year ago, noted Republican commentator Pat Buchanan warned that the outcome of the Trayvon Martin case, in which neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman is on trial for murder, could provoke rioting.
The public mind has been so poisoned that an acquittal of George Zimmerman could ignite a reaction similar to that, 20 years ago, when the Simi Valley jury acquitted the LAPD cops in the Rodney King beating case, he warned.
It seems he may have been right.
WND reported earlier in the week that police in Sanford, Fla., where the trial is being held, already were going door-to-door, apparently trying to prevent any violent reaction to the jury verdict when it is reached.
But a number of bloggers and watchers say there are not-so-subtle rumblings of violence developing.
On the Mr. Conservative blog, Twitter threats were reproduced in abundance.
If Zimmerman dont go to jail ill kill him for $20, said one.
Gimme me tha pistol ill kill Zimmerman myself, said another.
If George Zimmerman win Im gonna kill a fat white boy dat look lik George Zimmerman I swear, said a third.
This is despicable and seriously frightening, wrote blogger Kristin Tate. There is no way this would be tolerated if the threats from whites were against a black man.
Zimmerman is on trial for the shooting death of Martin, a teen he said attacked him and pinned him to the ground, delivering blows to his head. Zimmerman said he pulled his weapon and fired at Martin, killing him, in self-defense.
The blog reported thousands were threatening to riot should Zimmerman not be determined guilty by a jury....

They’ll be too busy looting and killing each other.
I love when businesses put up those “black owned” signs like they think it will help
In the large scale events, but in many places and in small incidents, which will only be reported in the local media (if at all), there will be extreme peril for others not of their community.
I’m sure you’re right. I was referring to the immediate region of where the trial is set. But you are right, white ass crackas needs to be watchful.
What you want is “Korean owned.”
But look on the bright side, a few weeks of killings and property damage and everything from Benghazi to Fast and Furious to the IRS snooping will be all but forgotten, just as planned. Heck, they won't even need the useful idiots from CT to push for gun confiscation anymore, so that promised Hawaiian vacation won't materialize now - sorry suckas!
Sadly, I believe a violent reaction and riots in the streets would be fine with the Obama administration.
I have the feeling they have pushed the envelope for some time hoping to precipitate a “Bitter Clinger” violent incident.
They would love to have some open violence to justify (in their minds) their overt racism and to open the door to even more draconian oppression of Obama critics.
In his autobiography, Malcolm X described a hilarious incident in the 1960’s Harlem riots where there was a sign outside of a Chinese restaurant that read “Me colored too”.
When you see the sign "Korean owned", it means owners have rifles and will shoot you for destroying all they have worked for.
And that's exactly what Saint Trayvon's mom,Miss Slim Jeans (on the witness stand:"yah,I think it's racial"),Crump, and the race pimp who made "Tawana Brawley" a household name want the jurors to think.
What ever rioting happens be sure the MSM will slant it towards the Conservatives. They’re the one’s who caused the blacks to riot. If only they came in with a guilty verdict nothing would have happened.
I hope that people in Florida, who even suspect they may be targets after an acquittal, are preparing this very moment to ‘repel all boarders’.
I think some of this is couch warrior talk. By that I mean that talk is cheap and pounding on your chest is cheap especially if you are just trying to ‘help’ frighten the public into doing what you want. You never even have to stand up or walk outside - just try to out do each other with threats of rioting etc. I am not saying there will be no riots but I believe alot of the talk of what they are going to do to whitey etc. is just their way of “voting” on the present case and on future cases - do as we say or else. I think some of this is to impress each other with how tough, how bad etc. one can be.
if you're a business owner needing to cash out, a simple "I support George Zimmerman" in your store window should do the trick. Beats committing arson.

Like the SOUL BROTHER signs in the 1960s. Reminds me of a cartoon from back then.
A fat white man is cleaning and loading his double barrel shotgun. A newspaper on the floor says Riots happening! The wife says...”For heaven’s sakes John, can’t we just put a SOUL BROTHER sign in the window?”
I said that this trial was a symbol. It’s not about a man with a Jewish-sounding name defending himself and a thug who tried to beat him to death.
It’s about WHITE GUILT. All the nation’s White Guilt has been poured into Zim’s head. All the years of slavery that ended long ago have been restored, and put on Zim’s head.
Zim and Martin are symbols. The real thing doesn’t matter any more. They are just pawns in the great big game of Get-Whitey.
There will be riots which will be in the news. But there is something that won’t be in the news. “Random” attacks on random Whites in retaliation. Attacks that they feel are justified, because Zim is just a symbol. The cops will be “baffled” and unable to find a motive. The media will deliberately hide the races.
It’s not better than 20 years ago. It’s worse.
“There will be rioting if he’s acquitted and that’s why he won’t be.”
I hope you are right on the first assertion and wrong on the second.
Convicting him could be very damaging to the rule of law. Riots could be an opportunity to re-establish the rule of law.
“Its not better than 20 years ago. Its worse.”
Shee-it boy, it’s worse than the 1950s.
One should be very careful what one wishes for - one might just get it. Once started, riots are hard, if not impossible, to control. Think Murphy’s Law of Unintended Consequences: “Whatever happens will happen in an unpredictable manner, so as to cause the most harm to the most people.”
And to all the NSA trolls, FU.
