I would actually live aboard but Hubby says no. ;(

I keep threatening my wife I'm gonna sell the house and buy a boat and some pastureland alongside an inland waterway that gets a tide. That way she can keep her horses...So far the prevailing opinion is NFW ;(

I've noticed that 9 out of 10 couples who first think live aboard is a good idea seem to lose their ardor for it (or for each other, or both) after a few years.

I have noticed just the opposite. We are surrounded by live aboards, the longest is 18 yrs or so. Boats are definitely close quarters but I see it done all the time.
At this time in my life I am ready to do something else. I love the boat lifestyle, and it is definitely a lifestyle, so it seems right for me. Hubby has too much ‘stuff’ he doesn’t want to get rid of. lol
