200% tax on alcohol ,same thing that’s happing in Turkey ,but Drugs ,no problem use as mush as you want

Last time I’ve been to Egypt long time ago there were little to none visible islamists but beer was in short supply anyway. It took a hour or more than a hour for me to find a place to buy a six-pack in a heavily populated area. All the beer I’ve seen there was of one brand - Stella. Not too good, but drinkable. I think it is harder to find now.
This year in Turkey I’ve been to major supermarkets without any alcohol for sale at all. It is a pretty new for Turkey.
