The GOP has no interest in punishing one of their fellow DC fraternity
brothers with real punishment. The GOP just want to use it as a campaign
tool.

With McConnell and Boehner in charge? Are you kidding me? These guys are the paragon of the go-along-to-get-along gang.

How Soon Will Clapper be Indicted for Perjury?

I'm guessing somewhere around the year 2075 the Republicans should have it together enough to do something.

To the democrats there is nothing wrong with lying, as a matter of fact, being a good liar is virtue in the party of evil.

Clapper was a 3 star general. I guarantee you that he threw the book at anyone who lied to him.

The ENTIRE FISH rots from the head down.

All can be expected to lie to Congress in his Agency.
All. They can never be trusted again because
he set the path.

Unfortunately, perjury is a *very* difficult crime to prove, because you don’t just need to prove that the statement was false, you need to prove that the person “willfully” made a statement which he “does not believe to be true.” Proving that level of state of mind is a very tall order, which is why many prosecutors shy away from bringing perjury charges in all but the most blatant cases (e.g., where a witness subsequently confesses to intentionally committing perjury).

Fellow FReepers, this could be a defining moment! We must push everyone of our representatives to do EXACTLY what that creep in the EPA wanted to do.

Remember, he was calling for a Roman type Crucifixion of a few so others would get the message?

Well we now have known self avowed criminals in the various alphabet agencies and we need a few legal Crucifixions to begin to ferret out the communist, progressive, liberal vermin from every government agency.

Clapper is a Reublican if he’s anything.

His first appointed job was under the Bush Administration, and his only recorded campaign contributions were to to the Dole Presidential Campaign in 1996, and to Senator John Warner (R-VA).

As Clapper was no doubt advised, his clarification has cleared him of any potential perjury charge. In legal terms, he has “purged” himself of the false statement.
