I’m sure either he or his staff read this site. I’ve seen opinions (even an occasional one of my own) voiced on his show. One or two times, coincidence but not everything. I joined FreeRepublic after I found out it was the stellar work of the people here that busted Dan Rather.
Adult conversations happen here...and wingnuttiness is kept in check for the most part. Better than any other lace I’ve seen, anyway.
As a Freeper, I am flattered. Rush has the ability to state things on the airwaves better than anyone of us could do individually. More than grateful to have him in our corner.

I agree. I think there is a reason he did this. He has not typically appeared on any TV show, nor does he typically do interviews with book authors. The choice of OKeefe, whose targets have been highly corrupt examples of progressive community activism (is there any other kind) stands out....Something afoot. What is very subtle is his measured tone, his careful choice of words, and verbal pentameter. He hasn't been this focused or measured verbally since he came out of rehab. He is choosing his words very carefully....
Yes something is afoot...

Thanks for the pic! Now that is a manly man!
There is no other commentator I can listen to for 3 hours but RUSH!
To: airedale
Yes, he did, and I heard it!
wahooo!
I also (stupidly) kept refreshing the browser on my phone to see if anyone at FreeRepublic brought it up.

I have long thought FR is a first stop for Rush as he does his show prep.I think it's likewise with Governor (and soon-to-be President) Sarah Palin. There's no doubt in my mind that she relies Free Republic to take the pulse of real Americans.

I wonder, too. In fact, I wonder what became of the ProtestWarrior organization. Probably targeted by the IRS and threatened with shutdown.

They’re busy elsewhere crapping on Sarah Palin or George Zimmerman. They’ll get here as soon as they can....

I was there in DC for the March For Justice, most fun I have ever had! The only thing I regret about the weekend is there were no name tags with our FR name on it.

Jim Robinson lit a flame that continues to burn brightly. Congrats Jim!!!!! Some here just suggested an MSM/ VL(Left)WC motivate Rush. Oh please- give me a break. Rush graciously devoted several minutes to praising the institution and participants at Free Republic, a well-managed, extremely-useful and creatively-presented website. Rush is awesome, we thank him for the massive support of this fine website. Who can forget Freepers contribution to Dan RaTher's doctored Bush docs and their help exposing the photoshopped Iraqi missiles? FreeRepublic ROCKS!

How about Buckland, the Bush Air National Guard letter with the superscript and Dan Rather finally being fired!
I watched THAT live right here! What a night, what a coup!

Remember it well! My hubby said he saw me on the CSPAN broadcast of it that day. Flew out from Los Angeles. Here's Jim!

. . we lost faith in the Rockefeller internationalist Republicans long ago. William, you sound as old and creaky as me. Yes, I remember those days; I cried the night Goldwater lost. My husband and I were so innocent and naive, we didn't have a term for "Rino" in those days. The main ones that stabbed Goldwater in the back, over and over, were Rockefeller, William Scranton, Gov. of Pennsylvania, and George Romney, Gov. of Michigan. Nobody talks about this last one, but Mitt definitely inherited his liberalism.
To: editor-surveyor
Dont swoon over Rush; anybody that gets 50 million+ from the MSM is beholden to them for his continued enjoyment of power.
He has to be one of them. I don't think so, necessarily. He's all the time talking about not being invited to "their" special dinners and such. Just cuz he makes alot of money doesn't mean he's one of "them". He makes money off of *us* and I will tell you he is just about the only one in the MSM I will listen to daily (although I missed today's show). He may be beholden to "them" for his paycheck - but he says a lot of good stuff that all people need to hear. I'm grateful because Rush Limbaugh helped turn me around.
He made me THINK.
