The board took the usual step of organizing the briefing on an investigation that has been closed for years. That’s in response to a new documentary film set to air this month on the 17th anniversary of the tragedy. The film says new evidence points to the often-discounted theory that a missile strike may have downed the jumbo jet.

Of course they do. They lied and covered up in 1996 and now that lie must be preserved at all costs.

Does anyone remember when a pilot near Los Angeles reported a missile trail near his aircraft? It was immediately downplayed as just a “bottle rocket”.

Scores of people of sound mind and body saw the same trail leading up to the plane.

  What a relief! It's good to know that this is just the sort of accident that can happen any time you get on a plane and the vapors become overheated. I'm surprised that cars don't blow up on the highways all the time... especially since gasoline is so much more flammable than kerosene.
