While I don’t have a problem with hunting, Kagan claims to be an Orthodox Jew . . .. which generally forbids sport hunting by Jews and makes it all but impossible for Jews to eat hunted meat (except in unusual/extreme circumstances). I must've missed that one in the dietary laws.
Then again, Jesus did have something to say about loading people down with rules… as well as traditions
