On a cold late February evening in 2012, unarmed seventeen-year-old Trayvon Martin was fatally shot by neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman.
Zimmerman claims he killed Martin in self-defense.
Since then, Martin’s history of truancy, firearms-related issues, and marijuana use, among other things, has come to light.
After a special prosecutor was commissioned, Zimmerman was charged with second-degree murder and is currently standing trial.
Evidence indicates that Zimmerman suffered head injuries the night Martin died, though exactly how and why remains a mystery. What can be certain, however, is that the shooting’s aftermath has been highly polarizing.
It has also drawn considerable attention to the oft-overlooked central Florida port city of Sanford, where the shooting took place.

They already wrote the story. Why let facts mess things up?
I always thought it was interesting that this story didn’t hit the national media until about a month after it happened. And that happened because bloggers and assorted race baiters kept pushing the story, because of the alleged racial angle. These race baiters were too stupid to know that Zimmerman was Hispanic, but when that inconvenient truth came to light, the media declared that he was a white Hispanic, so they could continue to play up the racist angle.
If the shooter in this case had been black, and the victim a “White Hispanic”, the national media would never have picked up this story. If both people had been of the same ethnic/racial background, the media would not have picked up this story.
The only reason this because a national story in the first place is because it was pushed into the media by people with a social/political agenda. Black men get shot every day, mostly by other black men, and it’s not national news.
I have a bit of an off-topic Zimmerman question. I have heard nothing about ballistics evidence in this case. Has the prosecution ever suggested they have ballistics evidence to show the shooting could not have occured with Zimmerman on his back as he claims or has Zimmerman’s side suggested the ballistics evidence proves it had to have gone down the way Zimmerman claims. I would think a close up shooting with the actors in the positions Zimmerman claims would have some tell-tale anges and other physical evidence would either back up or refute the claim.
Mystery?
Since the MSM played up this story, to convince us that America is a racist bigoted country, they have to ignore certain inconvenient truths. Such as the fact that Trayvon was a gang banger in training.
Why else to do you think they kept showing that picture of the clean cut looking 13 year old Trayvon, rather than the thuggish pictures taken shortly before he died?
Port city of Sanford? Sanford is 30 from the east coast.

The MSM concealed their homework, and lied by omission, but they still weren't satisfied so they published false witness against Zimmerman.
The mystery is that the MSM has an incredible lack of curiousity of how Zimmerman received such bad head injuries. So they will say that it’s not clear how it happened, because otherwise they might have to admit that Trayvon was not a little angel, just minding his own business.
Remains a mystery? I quit reading this drivel when I came to that. It only "remains a mystery" to the same folks who are always "surprised by unexpected unemployment numbers".
Ballistics experts were on the stand last week. One of them testified that the shot that killed Martin was fired between 2" - 12" from his chest but that the hoodie he was wearing had powder burns consistent with a point-blank shot. This substantiates that Martin was shot while standing over Zimmerman, as gravity pulled the hoodie down and the bullet entered his body 2"-12" from the muzzle.
The evidence has proven beyond a reasonable doubt htat Martin was on top of Zimmerman.
The whole thing has been spun up by a group of people who prefer to remain perpetual victims.
This gives them even MORE reason to remain in that perpetual state. Angry, sullen, uncooperative and constantly pissed off at the white man.
Facts don’t matter, reality doesn’t matter ...no one else matters ..just their freaking perpetual victimhood status is ALL that matters. It’s what they apparently FEED off of to stay alive.
And it’s convenient, because it prevents them from actually getting off their collective asses and making their own way in life, and in this society.
So sick of it I could throw up.
I suspect they all did, and knew, but scrubbed it.
The most insidious power of the media, is the power to ignore.
Seems like we also need a verified timeline of St. Drank’s biological parents whereabouts and cronies during his life.
The autopsy has been released, and has the interesting fact of the powder coverage on the inside of TM's shirt - something like 2 square inches. From that, one can infer that the guy was leaning forward. If on his back, the powder coverage should be much less or non-existent.
Did Trayvon have any injuries other than his gunshot wound?? Have never heard of any.

And then this morning, on CNN, there were four commentators discussing the case. One of them, a black man, chuckled and said, “Zimmerman even admitted, on the police tape, that it wasn’t him screaming!”
That’s a lie!
If any of you listened to the tape, George Zimmerman really said, “That doesn’t even sound like me.”
Have any of us said that?
I have, when I hear my own voice sometimes. When looking at certain photos, I’ve also said, “That doesn’t even look like me.”
