They already wrote the story. Why let facts mess things up?

I always thought it was interesting that this story didn’t hit the national media until about a month after it happened. And that happened because bloggers and assorted race baiters kept pushing the story, because of the alleged racial angle. These race baiters were too stupid to know that Zimmerman was Hispanic, but when that inconvenient truth came to light, the media declared that he was a white Hispanic, so they could continue to play up the racist angle.

If the shooter in this case had been black, and the victim a “White Hispanic”, the national media would never have picked up this story. If both people had been of the same ethnic/racial background, the media would not have picked up this story.

The only reason this because a national story in the first place is because it was pushed into the media by people with a social/political agenda. Black men get shot every day, mostly by other black men, and it’s not national news.
