No and it is unclear if the photo was posted in some private way. I am waiting to see how it was found.
I was on a grand jury in Seattle and one day the jury in another trial (family suing Jim Beam for causing their newborn’s fetal alcohol syndrome and Jim beam won) reched a verdict that day. I was at the bus stop outside the courthouse for my trip home and King TV stuck a camera and microphone in my face and asked me what I thought of the verdict. I said, and I quote, “Not only do I agree with it but I think this state needs frivolous lawsuit laws.” Yeah, I’m not proud of the way I said it, but it’s what I said.
The next day, the plaintiff looks over at the jury and there is a sidebar with the judge, shortly after which they excuse all of the jury except me. They then ask me if I was interviewed by newsmen the day before. I said yes. It turns out it had been aired on the 6:30 and 11:00 news. They asked me if it caused me to have any bias in the case I was hearing. I told them they were two completely different cases about two completely different things and had nothing in common - It was irrelevent.
They kept me on the jury.
This seems similar. I am not aware of any gag orders in this case.
