We listened to the tape yesterday, and George Zimmerman really said, “That doesn’t even sound like me.”

Yes, I agree, I've said something like that too. In my opinion, GZ was just shocked at how he sounded when he screamed. But, I thing any intelligent person knows GZ would confirm that was him.

The first time anyone hears their voice on tape, they are amazed at how different they sound. The sound we hear of our voices is different than the sound other people hear because we hear it through the bones in our head as well as our ears. I flatly denied it was my voice the first time I sang a song and was recorded. I was pretty young then, back in the late 50s and tape recorders were pretty rare, large reel to reel things, a friend had a small one, about the size of a suitcase, that she used to record a bunch of us, talk about being stunned when we hear our voices.

Screaming out of fear of dying would also change your voice. Zimmerman knows he was the one screaming and the guy on TV was a lying POS.
