Probably not. In Florida, that requires the prosecutor to have an independent reason for "hating" the target. There has to be some sort of actual malice exhibited by the prosecutor, against the defendant.

Under that standard, a hit man would be found innocent, because "hits" are just business. Cold-blooded killing, but done for money, not out of any spite for the target.

Corey is the equivalent of a hit man. And, under Florida law, there is no malicious prosecution when the prosecutor is "doing it for money." Not saying she is literally doing it for money, just saying that her motive wasn't animus toward Zimmerman.

She might get some harsh criticism from the press, but that is all she's got at risk. The state of Florida is going to cover her ass.
