Today, July 2nd, is DAY #17 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Today Detective Chris Serino will be back on the stand. [Yesterday ended] on the stand with Chris Serino, who was the lead investigator for the Sanford Police Department on the Trayyvon Martin shooting.
Defense counsel Mark O’Mara led cross-examination with his usual consummate skill, obtaining responses from this witness–remember, the State’s witness–that all but completely guts the State’s charge in this case.
Among the key revelations so far: Zimmerman was always completely cooperative, open, and straightforward with all the police investigators over many weeks of multiple interviews, both in person at the police station and phone. Bill S. said it was a side show and the lawyers don’t like each other. They will probably discuss this at 1:25 pm when they return from lunch.

Well, I googled it after I saw your thread pulled. I figured it be a double post.
I passed the typical chicken little sites, but when I saw bizjournal, well....I guess I don’t know enough about bizjournal to be aware....they are now blacklisted with me. Not for reporting the story, but for misleading with the statement about the conviction. They were clear the Grand Jury was citizens, but it was the next comment that got me. The one where they said she was going to be tried...I didn’t know the citizen thing actually tried cases too... oh well.

If they declare a mistrial, they can charge Zman again. It becomes a matter of how much money he can spend.

He did not get specific about names. He just meant those representing the state versus those representing the defense.
There was an instagram or some other website social media of the defense attorney and his daughter having an ice cream cone after the Jabba the Hut girl’s testimony. Underneath the daughter wrote: WE BEAT STUPIDITY.
Not sure what the motion would be.... to remove him as defense counsel? More likely to ask that he be held in contempt and prohibited from making ‘out of court comments’ about the case. Something like that.
Mostly an attempt to embarrass the defense who is kicking their butts and to throw the media a bone. They want some sideline story for additional Team TM outrage.
