Today, July 2nd, is DAY #17 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Today Detective Chris Serino will be back on the stand. [Yesterday ended] on the stand with Chris Serino, who was the lead investigator for the Sanford Police Department on the Trayyvon Martin shooting.
Defense counsel Mark OMara led cross-examination with his usual consummate skill, obtaining responses from this witnessremember, the States witnessthat all but completely guts the States charge in this case.
Among the key revelations so far: Zimmerman was always completely cooperative, open, and straightforward with all the police investigators over many weeks of multiple interviews, both in person at the police station and phone. The sense given is that Zimmerman demonstrated endless patience. (continue reading summary)

Put very succinctly... that right there is the essential difference between the left and the right.
The right tries to appeal to people’s ‘intelligence’.
The left tries to appeal to people’s ‘ignorance’.
And unfortunately, in this deliberately-dumbed-down society we live in...it looks like the left is winning.

Maybe MOM uses cross exam to get testimony on GZ character?
This little man is a bit gleeful!
Interesting we don’t get more reports on what the jury is doing and how they’re reacting to certain evidence and testimony.
I guess smiling because MoM tripped could be a sign they like him..........or not.
:)
This is really desperation on the state’s part to bring Osterman up there
Ok...

“You keep saying there were multiple reasons given by Zimmerman”
Reasons
To Follow versus just to see the street sign and then gets jumped by Martin.
Latter is more beneficial to the defense.
Thanks
He is telling the jury step by step what Zimmerman did, and it is entirely hearsay.
MOM got Serino to correct himself and state that the NEN operator asked GZ if he was following TM when the operator heard the wind noise on GZ’s phone and that the operator asked GZ that question very shortly after GZ exited his truck.
I'd want to read the ingredients before I made that assesment. The can might say "Iced Tea", and "watermelon juice" be a more accurate description of what's actually in the can.
I believe it. She did the same thing with Double-Dee. No re-cross allowed.
I do not understand why the Prosecution is trying this attempt! They are trying to get the jury to think that GZ is a liar. Yet, EVERY STATE WITNESS says Zimmerman was honest.
I had to think hard about the names of streets that connect directly to mine and those near it that I rarely go down. Took me a few to sort out in my head and I’ve lived here decades. Have been in neighborhoods where the streets weren’t well marked. Lived in an apartment for a year that was a similar set up to GZ’s area and never knew the name of the streets the rows of apartments directly behind me were.

The prosecution theory hinges on making Zimmerman a liar because he is inconsistent in various recountings of the events. The state will play the Hannity interview too, same reason.
I have the same question about hearsay, this is hearsay in spades. But, as long as the other side doesn't object, it comes in. O'Mara knows this helps the defense, so he lets it continue.
I think I might have mentioned I can’t see the video or trial, that I’m cubicle bound here? Sorry if I forgot that.
