Today, July 2nd, is DAY #17 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Today Detective Chris Serino will be back on the stand. [Yesterday ended] on the stand with Chris Serino, who was the lead investigator for the Sanford Police Department on the Trayyvon Martin shooting.
Defense counsel Mark OMara led cross-examination with his usual consummate skill, obtaining responses from this witnessremember, the States witnessthat all but completely guts the States charge in this case.
Among the key revelations so far: Zimmerman was always completely cooperative, open, and straightforward with all the police investigators over many weeks of multiple interviews, both in person at the police station and phone. The sense given is that Zimmerman demonstrated endless patience. (continue reading summary)

"Y'all knows that to them creepy-ass crackers, we all looks alike?"
Lissen up, I be for Crump! The concep of the "composite girlfriend" be well established by the POTUS 'o' the-moment. That be how come the voices don't match.
Y'all retarded, or what?
Years ago, I didn't get it when I saw the "Italians"...not the sharpest knife in the drawer...but, now I sometime think of the Italians when I'm posting Italics.
Went to bed at this point.
I’m thinkin of a line of Sybrina and Tracey bobblehead dolls sittin in the front row of a courtroom chewing gum and whisperin to each other out of the sides of their mouths sayin sheet like:
“Why didn’t that boy take care of that cracka when he had him down — sheet” .... “I thought you taught him bettah than that” .... “well these crackas in front of us better finish what that boy dint or your ass is grass” .... “my ass gonna be smokin if you blow that testishow you been working on” .... “scummin tomorrow I been werkin on the tears” ....
I think these two bobbleheads will sell .... atleast to the jury. That’s six sales for sure.
What say you???
Would you believe my minority recruiting effort has been a vast success, coinciding as it did with EBT and welfare deposit day!
My team has placed the lighted bobbleheads of Tracy and his Main Squeeze du jour, the Judge, Martin Family Attorneys, and of course, the whole prosecution team, in many a subsidized housing living room window. Most families want the whole darn set!
The lights are actually solar-powered, switching on at dusk and bobbling as folks walk through their Sec 8 cribs. I did take it upon myself to get Tracy that swell shirt and tie set that looks so great in CU. $350 and worth every cent. BTW, I had Tracy's gang tattoos converted to the "Praying Hands" motif, the cost of which I took from the promotions budget. I am also trying to buy up photographs of dear olde Dad Tracy flashing gang signs, etc. Let's not go there, OK? This, and sending young Rachel Jeantel (real name, if any, unknown) to a shape-up camp will impact this quarter's profits very slightly, if at all.
Last week's sales drop has reversed itself with a vengeance. Looking forward to the minutes of your meeting with Alan Dershowitz. Once the appeals cycle starts, we can drop Trayvon promotions, and gear up for the Creepy-Ass Cracker Market. BTW, in your correspondence, watch where you put that hyphen, capeesh?
No need to get Reggie and you-know-who excited.
Good synopsis of the days. Please post them regularly for those who work during the day. You have reason to be proud
I was a wannabe in 1972 and was one until 1978, well actually Sheriffs Dept but I was a wannabe at one time.
Witness list is here. Plenty more on that list. This show is far from over:

The Moment:
OMARA: And in that sense, you said that there was no evidence that Trayvon Martin was doing anything wrong, correct?
SERINO: None whatsoever.
OMARA: You dont know that, though, correct?
SERINO: No, I do not.
OMARA: Right. You know that whatever he may have been planning just wasnt completed, correct?
SERINO: I wouldnt know. I wouldnt know. There was no evidence to suggest that at all.
OMARA: As a matter of fact, there was a type of a tool found in the area where Trayvon Martin may have been hiding, wasnt there?
SERINO: Approximately five, six days after the investigation at the scene, yes.
OMARA: Right. When you went back, you looked in the bushes and you found, what was it?
SERINO: It was a piece of an awning belonging to I believe it was a piece of a window piece of hardware basically. Looked like a slim Jim.
OMARA: Slim Jim, and whats a slim Jim?
SERINO: A slim Jim is a device used to jimmy locks on vehicles primarily.
OMARA: To break into a vehicle?
SERINO: Yes, sir.
OMARA: And that was found a few days after this event?
SERINO: Yes, sir.
OMARA: Not particularly tied to this event by you, but it was there, wasnt it?
SERINO: Yes, it was.
OMARA: In the bushes just off of one of the residences, correct?
SERINO: In the bushes behind Jonathan Manalos residence.
I am only vaguely aware of the trouble that IChing encountered. My impression was that, for some reason, his recent sign up date signaled to some FReepers that he was suspicious “posting while newbie.”
We have some “one trick ponies” here and some of them are not too bright and some of them are just angry all the time.
Dat you, Kingfish?? LOL!!
I’m with you. But let’s be frank. In a “sane” world, this would go to a directed verdict. And when we get what you describe, not only will Z be exhonerated but the judge will have a lot of ‘splainin’ to do.
It would also be interesting if, after everything you say, the jury finds him guilty.
Prosecution presents witnesses and those witness seem stronger for defense than prosecution. Maybe this is just because the prosecution doesn't have a good case.
The prosecution has very little evidence. They have a theory and no facts.
You do realize she is a liberal, that means common sense is gone and other liberals will not care.
Went to work...here.

Good link. You are way ahead of me.
Point is, in the past FR had their share of unbecoming exchanges but FR members did not tolerate that sort of posting behavior.
FReepers used to proudly say “we are better than that/them.”
Today, FReepers are proud to say “we are not as bad.”
Witness on stand at present, the college professor (and lawyer) who taught a law enforcement course to GZ appears to be another prosecution witness making a good case for the defense.
I have a working theory...
After seeing the Prosecution playing the Hannity interview, the cop interview, all that actually workedg for the Defense, I think I have this figured out.
Remember this indictment was political from the outset.
The Cops said it was clearly self defense.
But that hostile med examiners boss ( district attorney?) pressed an arrest.
The prosecution has known all along that the original inditement was bogus and they would never convict. Imagine being the prosecutor and having to convict a know innocent man. But he is following orders.
So the goal all along is to appease a certain segment of our culture with a trial and at the same time publicize and show how very clearly innocent Zimmerman is, even to the simple minded, all to avoid an excuse for riots and looting.
This would explain the no Blacks on the Jury thing.
Frankly that blew my mind. Clearly to all this whole thing is Racially charged.
Why would they ever agree to that?
just a theory
