I keep seeing McCain in the Slim Pickins role in Dr. Strangelove riding the bomb down. He is going to bring the peace of the dead, with the US in the middle of the conflagration. He was one of the principal agitators in getting the US to war in Libya too, and that has worked out so wonderfully.

Syria ia an Iranian surrogate/client.
Therefore, eliminating Assad in Syria is the way to go
