20-year-old Elizabeth Daly was driving out of the convenience store parking lot when one man jumped on the hood of her car while another PULLED A GUN ON HER. Turns out, they were agents with Virginia's Alcoholic Beverage Control, but because they were in plain clothes, Elizabeth and her roommates were completely confused and terrified.

By their own lights the agents should have shot everyone in the car. I am sure that in the split second after the action when they were able to think about it they “felt threatened.”

Sounds like a comedy scene from a bad teen movie.

she did the exactly right thing...if a guy or guys come up to you and it sounds hinky that they are the cops, you drive to a safer area....good for her....

why do I suspect that these boy cops are stopping only girls...

this is what we are headed for...

So.....why is it again that you can’t sue jack-booted, testosterone fueled cop wannabes?

Another example of a government militarizing an agency that has NO REASON TO BE ARMED! Innocent people will die.

The were SEVEN alchol control agents.

Every story I’ve seen uses this original story:

Glad to see this made Cosmo. I didn’t read it but I hope those slutty dames didn’t “apologize” for the fascist pig cops who terrorized this woman - WHO HAD DONE NOTHING WRONG!

Bored cops were just playing “TSA Agent” and forgot it wasn’t real - as if she was trying to board an airplane carrying bottled water and cookie dough. And heaven only knows what could happen with ice cream!

Regular citizens had better start wearing protective vests, like now. Cops are getting worse than unbadged thugs.

Swell. Ever-alert agents at the ready. How admirable is that?

Another story recently three adorable preteen girls were driven out of business for opening an “illegal” lemonade stand because they were “breaking city law.” They went before a judge because they did not have vendors permits and licenses that would cost them $50 per day plus

OTOH, how many Banksters were tried and jailed for pulling down the entire world economy? Maybe these local overachieving law enforcement jerks should get jobs investigating BigBanks. And Eric Holder and the justice dept should be investigating 13-year-old lawbreakers.

I really, really, really hope this girl files charges against the pigs who arrested her for false arrest, harassment, and illegal imprisonment.

She should get enough money out of that jurisdiction so she can quite college and retire!!

“Regular citizens had better start wearing protective vests, “

I bet you would be surprised to learn this little fact: It is illegal to wear bullet proof vests in many cities.

The prosecutor had this to say (from the original article):

“Chapman stood by the agents’ decision to file charges, citing faith in a process that yielded an appropriate resolution.”

IMHO, the agents should have had disciplinary actions taken against them.

Unacceptable behavior on the part of the agents.
