Exactly. Any House version will be altered in the conference committee between House and Senate and will come back to the House with a Trojan Horse hiding amnesty and legalization clauses that will be voted by all dems in the House and about 18 traitorous republicans.

No goddamned "immigration" bill out of the GOP controlled House or all bets are off.
These blue blood country club MF's "Republicans" who want to help the communist democrats declare war on the middle class by legalizing criminals and depressing wages are playing with fire.

They are counting that in 2014 their constituents are too stupid to remember how they were screwed over this year.

“Rather, he wants a “pathway to legalization” — in other words, allow some illegal immigrants a shot at a green card, but not full-fledged citizenship.”
Same turd, different day. This lets them get a foot in the door for future legalization. I can hear the wales of the liberals of the future.

Or maybe it’s a way to introduce two official classes of Americans; patricians and plebs.

And before the ink is wet the Rats will be whining because it’s not fair to have workers who contribute so much as second class citizens. The Rats will never go for it.

The president must be threatened, personally brought to account, for his failure.
The threat must be so substantial that it causes pain so intense that the desired border closing occurs immediately.
Absent that, there is no need for action
