Britain has treated Jews horribly for almost a thousand years. There were many cases of blood libels and other antisemitic accusations in the 1100s and 1200s. In 1190, the Jewish population of York was massacred in Clifford's Tower, which was set on fire after the Jews there had sought refuge within. Jews were also taxed at much higher rates to finance Crusades. In 1290, they were expelled wholesale from England by Edward I. Jews gradually re-entered England in the 1600s and 1700s.
You won't catch me spending a dime of my money on that blood soaked island. Nor the rest of Europe. There's nothing there that I need to see that badly.

I think there's another side to this story. Here's a screenshot from the interview in the linked article:
Note that the (voided) entry stamp was placed directly on one of the "Visas" pages of his passport, rather than on a UK visa (and, there is no indication that there was any such visa).
