It goes with his opening remark....that the jury are all "I saw nothing, heard nothing, said nothing"...HOWEVER....
I believe that everyone of the jury members came here "leaning" one way or another....so what they hear will confirm their "lean"....
West is getting the expert to say that “groupthink” audio analysis is very dubious and unreliable. He is doing this pre-emptively, because very soon the Prosecution will call TM’s parents to say that they all got in a room and determined that it was TM’s voice doing the screaming.
West needs this because the expert witness already said that those most familiar with the voice are more likely to make a good judgement about the voice on a recording.
