The demonstrations that began Sunday in Cairo, Egypt against the Muslim Brotherhood government of President Mohamed Morsi have attracted "millions" of supporters and many counter-demonstrators as well, making the protest the largest political event in the history of the world, according to the BBC. The protests in Tahrir Square and throughout Egypt exceed those that ousted President Hosni Mubarak in 2011 in the key event of the Arab Spring. Two years later, after constitutional reforms and elections that saw Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood move to aggrandize their power, the public backlash is immense.

Then they aren’t looking to overthrow Morsi. This is a power struggle between Islamists, at most. All Morsi needs to do to hold on to power is to call in his buddies from Hamas and things will suddenly get quiet after they get very messy.

It seems the French , Egyptians , Iranians, Turks, Greeks have more balls than most of Americans today, which does nto surprise as we have so many low info voters who are more interested in who is dating who in Hollywood

So there are more people in the streets against this Islamonazi trash than there were against the benign ally Mubarak.
Will Obama tell Morsi to step down?
Not a chance in hell.

Will DC notice? No. McCain was asked about it this AM on Fox and basically said forget Egypt, Syria and arming the rebels there is the priority. He's all hot for another Libya in Syria.
The real reform movement in Egypt is SOL as far as any support from DC is concerned.

Sadly, yes. And don’t forget Iceland, who reportedly went into the banks, physically pulled the officers into the street and told them there was no way the people are paying for their bad trades. The economy collapsed, but they’ve since risen from the ashes and are doing pretty well now I hear.

There is no reasonable way to compare those nations with the USA. The geography alone takes millions of potential American protesters out of play. There also isn't the ideological divide between rural and urban that we have here. Beyond that, I don't want to proudly compare myself to those who have little to nothing in common with me.

Didn't "nutty" Glenn Beck predict this in late 2010 or 2011?

Chaos is the legacy of Obama. It is also his intent. Of that I have no doubt whatsoever. Stupid will only get you so far and tends to be corrected by negative feedback. But when those results are what you want? That is the call sign of evil.

Let's see....100,000 dead in Syria....looks like Bammy is trying to out do himself by supporting his Muslim Brotherhood friends in Egypt.
It will be a bloodbath. How many people will die?
