Mall maul nothing much, authorities report

The black mob violence at Fort Lauderdale over the Memorial Day weekend was nothing much, said the chief of police, local media and business boosters.

And the chief knows that because very few people were arrested, he said.

But if nothing happened in Fort Lauderdale, then even less happened a few miles away earlier this week at the Lauderhill Mall where a mob of 200 to 300 black people were fighting, destroying property, rampaging past the stores, taunting police and creating chaos.

The Miami Herald picked up the beat: “A small fight,” said the local paper of record.

Which could have been news to the dozens of extra police from three neighboring areas, along with a SWAT team, police dogs, rifles, a helicopter, and other crowd control measures that were required to get the mob under control and out of the mall.

The mall closed for several hours. No one was arrested. But lots of people saw what happened. And their account is different from the antiseptic “nothing to see here folks” version that appeared in the local press.

Sounds just like Labour’s laughable crime statistics in the UK: if they aren’t arrested, tried, and/or convicted then crime magically decreases!

One mall in Ohio enacted a curfew, age restriction, etc. as a last resort. The usual voices cried foul but it worked.

Maybe the rural areas will escape, but I fear that most cities will burn after the verdict, no matter what it is! They’ll find a reason!

For the same reason, local media rarely air any stories about unhealthy chain restaurants or ripoff car dealers. When they do, they pick on the already dodgy or the mom and pops and never on the big ad spenders.

And for the same reasons we rarely see any stories on government workers pi**ing money up a wall....with the exception of ‘sweeps week.’

The question is...if government malfeasance is a ratings grabber then why not air stories about it year round?

The Mall of America did that as well. Anyone under aged 16 needs an adult with them. Crime went down massively. They had some real problems for a while even after having an an actual police precinct at the mall itself as a deterrent.

The mall here closed one year because of the “climate” that invaded it during the annual track and field competitons. The mall caught flak from the libs loonies for being racist, never mind the safety of the customers and property of the shops. The libs failed to admit it wasn’t a racist move since the majority of the mall’s customers are already black but it’s the thugs from around the state who come in every year and cause problems.

Much of black America seems to have a collective chip on their shoulder, daring any whites’ perceived attempt to knock it off.

Media attention is their adrenaline and their steroid; a drug they crave and become progressively aggressive in obtaining.

We have a really large, and nice mall near where I live, but in the past 5 years it has become overrun with black thuggery, to the point that hardly any whites will go there, especially after dark.

They seem to do everything in their power to make us dislike them and not want to be around them, and then call us “haters” and “racists”. It’s a lose-lose situation.

City crime statistics for blacks are suppressed too... Mayors don't want potential companies boycotting their cities... I doubt the press is selling out to mall owners as much as selling out to liberal PC thought-police...

Then again, liberal elites have so many reasons and ways to lie it's hard to keep their lies and motives straight.

The above from your link... What's funny is the police spokesperson is pushing the 'crimes aren't increasing' lie... then complains about the problem being crime is 'very visible'. In other words it's difficult to lie about the crime that's happening when people can see it with their own eyes... Great link - thanks for sharing.

This stuff is happening everywhere. My 90 year old Mom mentioned a few mos ago she is afraid to go to Gwinnett Place Mall because of all the Amish roaming around. Then last week the sister in law and brother in law got acosted by a 15 year old that their gaze happened to linger on a second too long. He got in their face and the brother in law had to threaten him to get him to move along. I don’t think they will be going back.

They don't need ‘encouragement’ to do what they're doing... The ‘encouragement’ is free stuff and an outlet for vileness...it's that simple.

Check out your ‘white guilt’ level.. it's seems king of high... You did not cause these people to act like juvenile delinquents. It might be your problem at some point, but it's not your fault.

Florida is a legal concealed carry state. So why are the Floridians so hesitant to start intervening to stop violent felony mob crime?

They had better get their act together, as a mob of this size seems to be a warm up to a Zimmerman acquittal riot. Which if Floridians permit, on their own head be it.

A good start would be for concerned citizens to contact their local Sheriff about establishing a posse comitatus unorganized militia (not to be confused with the Posse Comitatus Act). Such a militia is authorized under Florida law.

Currently Florida has an unorganized militia in Sarasota, called the Florida Charter Oaks. Far too small and far away to provide an anti-riot posse.

However, the unorganized militia in Florida needs first to notify the public to be armed and ready against a post-Zimmerman riot, based on the idea that the police are unable and unwilling to stop such a riot.

Likewise, they should start posting warnings to potential rioters that acts of riot and other violence may be met with lethal force.

Not necessarily hanging, of course. Shooting is good enough.
