The black mob violence at Fort Lauderdale over the Memorial Day weekend was nothing much, said the chief of police, local media and business boosters.
And the chief knows that because very few people were arrested, he said.
But if nothing happened in Fort Lauderdale, then even less happened a few miles away earlier this week at the Lauderhill Mall where a mob of 200 to 300 black people were fighting, destroying property, rampaging past the stores, taunting police and creating chaos.
The Miami Herald picked up the beat: “A small fight,” said the local paper of record.
Which could have been news to the dozens of extra police from three neighboring areas, along with a SWAT team, police dogs, rifles, a helicopter, and other crowd control measures that were required to get the mob under control and out of the mall.
The mall closed for several hours. No one was arrested. But lots of people saw what happened. And their account is different from the antiseptic “nothing to see here folks” version that appeared in the local press.

The local press almost certainly gets lot of ad revenue from the local mall. The local mall doesn’t want paying customers to stop showing up, so they don’t want a true account to be seen in the paper, and voila! there isn’t one.
Note that these ferals do not need verdicts from criminal trials in order to loot and riot. It just comes natural to them.

In one sense, it’s a good thing that those people were not given any publicity or attention. OTOH, it probably encourages them to be even more obnoxious and undesirable because of the paucity of arrests.

They will not act on these disturbances for fear of reprisals legal and otherwise from the black communities and community organizations, politicians and media so they will down play it, allow it to happen and it will get worse.
They’re just “keeping it real”.
They were just thinning the herd of unarmed white victims.
Which is why we don’t go to the malls down here.
Word will spread and the paying customers will stop going and the malls will get fed up.
The most potentially deranged, violent feral youths can simply walk in and nobody blinks an eye...
I’m in a small newly-minted suburban city with a largish mall.
Policing the mall is our police force’s biggest problem. I intend to learn more of the details on that.
I had a very scary encounter in a Tampa area mall a few years ago and also on an Anna Maria Island beach when I was walking alone. Both involved white feral teens.
