She was clearly lying. She changed parts of her statement by her own admission. She claimed to have written a letter she later admitted she could not even read.

The real problem isn't that she's stupid (she is) that she's uneducated (she is) English isn't her first language (it isn't) or that she's black (so what?)

The problem is that she's a liar.

Never the point of my argument ... her obvious lack of a decent education was. A condemnation of our public educational system.
