I do not comprehend why there is no criminal mechanism to remove a politician from office when they violate their campaign promises to their constituents, when they violate their oath of office, or when they violate the laws of the United States (and don’t tell me about recalls, most of those fail!).

Right now, Rubio and about 500 (at least) of his colleagues in the Politburo (AKA Congress) are all guilty of fraud in one form or another and, yet, we do nothing.

And, to add insult to injury, whaddaya wanna bet that the effort to recall Rubio fails?

To hell with the Supreme Court! What we need is a citizen board to police the fraud and corruption of our politicians.

Ah, but they are atheists. They do not believe that some day there will be an accounting for their actions before a Just God’s Judgment. They are killing, stealing, partying and laughing. Then suddenly will become aware of the cost.

And the cost is eternal. After they see God face to face, their next chapter starts for their eternal story. And its the last chapter.

Obama better enjoy his billion dollar vacation spree on the backs of America now, cause he will repay a thousand times over for every cent stolen from a working man. No jobs in Hell.

No golf either.

Except for the mechanism to remove lying politicians, why are there no mechanisms to remove lying politicians?

Not sure I get you here.

But yes, recalls are hard and take a lot of work that, frankly, too few of us are willing (or have time) to do. Having a completely corrupt Republican party doesn’t help and neither do those Republican voters willing to hold their nose and vote for any liar no matter what(imho). As long as there is no political cost to liberal Republicans, nothing will change.

I do not understand why there is not some criminal mechanism...

Why couldn't there be? Couldn't contributors, individuals and conservative organizations, charge Rubio (and Flake and Ayotte and some others) with fraud? There are very clear, specific quotes they all made during the campaign that they would put border security first.

US Senators can't be recalled. A fraud lawsuit approach would maybe get other 'pubs thinking twice about traitoring those who elected them to office.
