Earlier this year, Jeb Bush told ABC that both his father George H.W. Bush, and brother George W. recommended he run for president in 2016. Mama Barbara Bush is not keen on the idea, declaring in April that the nations probably had enough Bushes.
But in the constantly shifting equations of potential Republican hopefuls for future president and vice president, the former Florida governors name has been tied with another former governor: Sarah Palin.
The pair have now been framed as a the GOPs only chance in the race by American Thinker contributor Michael Sheppard.
Would Jeb Bush have as good a chance, or better, than any other prospective GOP candidate? Most certainly he might. As a popular governor of Florida, married to a Hispanic, and who garnered a good proportion of the Hispanic vote, Bush would be in a strong position to carry the state, he says, reasoning that Mr. Bush, as a southern governor, could also hold sway in Virginia and appeal to Iowa evangelicals and centrist voters in New Hampshire.
Should Hillary Clinton emerge as the Democratic candidate, it could also improve Mr. Bushs electability. Then there is the Palin factor, Mr. Sheppard says. She brings ardent fans with her, of course.
A Jeb Bush/president - Sarah Palin/vice-president ticket covers all the Electoral College, Evangelical, pro-life, centrist-conservative, experienced governorships, male/female bases, he notes.....

I won’t vote for Bush even with Palin on the ticket. I’m not sure I will bother voting at all if they pass amnesty.
I’m not holding my nose one more time and the only republican (little r) I will vote for is Cruz. I’ll leave the rest blank or vote 3rd party.
Chirp, chirp kma GOP. I’m going to sit home in middle earth.
The Republicans, if Bohner brings up the amnesty bill, will have committed suicide and relegated the USA to become California from coast-to-coast. The east coast liberal Republicans have finally won by destroying themselves and have decided to become democrats. The liberty, once hard-won, has been frittered away by the feckless Republican leadership. We enter the dark ages of a chosen servitude to tyrants. If freedom is to be regained, it will be the same way our founders won it. The glorious liberty gifted to us by the blood of the men who came before us, has been counted as nothing by those who run Washington D.C.
Well if you were a Libertarian you could just do drugs.
Mama Bush is right!
Cruz/Gowdy 2016
How about neurosurgeon Ben Carson — the one who told Obama the unvarnished truth at the National Prayer Breakfast?
He made a lot of sense and is not afraid to say what needs to be said.
Cruz/Palin 2016
Yes, we’ve had enough Bushes to last forever.
Palin is not going to run. She has rejoined FOX news just like the last time. We can hope she puts a chink in the Jeb Bush run if we are lucky.
If a person is going to run in 2016, they have to already be putting together the financing and apparatus as Reagan did, otherwise they are not going to have a prayer.
I do not see Sarah doing that.
She seems to be doing what she likes. Commenting and firing up folks.
NO
I put a Palin run at better than 50%.
It’s a very long way, until the election now.
Looks to me like the powerful establishment are worried that Palin has a lot of power with the republican party base. They are never going to win with the likes of Jeb Bush. Jeb Bush pushed this amnesty bill through Marco Rubio. Marco just did the payback and was happy to do so. Sarah and Ted Cruz are the two targets for the ruling party.
Then GOP doesn’t stand a chance and shouldn’t either.
All Bushes, Kennedys, Clintons, Obamas, and other GOP and Democrat vermin ought to be deported to h*ll, to North Korea, or to Saudi Arabia and the area sterilized.
Palin/AnybodyButBush
Sounds good to me!
The GOP-E’er’s are drinking way too much for their own good.
My GAWD. How many points need to be stated here???
1) Palin is the ONLY reason McCain wasn’t trounced more soundly than he was.
2) After which, Palin was treated like a 2nd class citizen, who didn’t “sit down and shut up” like the good little conservative the GOP-e has become accustomed to
3) That they think Palin will docilely accept the #2 spot and lick the hand of those that “give” it to her.... WTH are they smokin’?!?!
4) Palin is the epitome of a female but she has more balls than the entire GOP contingency in both houses of Congress. What’s more — they know it and hate her for it!!!!
Sarah Palin will never again play second fiddle to a liberal.
You do understand the money and the machine it takes to run.
Reagan knew that and planned ahead. He was ready. You can’t win just because people on your side like you, the deal is you have to be ready to counter the other side and sell yourself to others than the people that are already on board.
That takes a machine and it takes planning way ahead, well, unless you are a Bush or a Clinton.
John McLame version 3.0
No one has Dan Quayled Palin, she is the national leader that Dan Quayle could never have become even with the media on his side.
Palin is the conservative leader that no one outside of Reagan has been.
stay out the bushes, enough already!
