The Democrat at the heart of the successful filibuster of a Texas bill to ban abortion after the 20-week pregnancy mark proved an above and beyond dedication to beating back the measure she even wore a catheter.
Sen. Wendy Davis, 50, donned running shoes, a back brace and a urinary catheter in the walk up to her Tuesday filibuster that ultimately spanned 11 hours.

When are we going to see a Republican with that sense of conviction?
I wonder if she also wore a device similar to an “in the egg, egg scrambler”, for feces? Probably not, because it might all flow out and she would deflate like a balloon, being full of it.
Well that left her full of cr*p...
A back brace, too. That’s cheating. Filibusters are supposed to require a little suffering, at least.
But maybe some of the GOP losers could get some of those back braces. Not quite a spine, but it might help a bit.
Did she put it in her mouth?
and I bet she now has one nasty UTI to boot!

She owuld have made a bigger impact if she just let her urine flow into hte sewer pit called the chamber- Since congress is such a sewer pit anyways,
You must be kidding me...A catheter? I can fish on the beach for 11 hours, drinking wine the whole time and STILL hold my water.
not everyoen has a superbladder- I know woemen who if they even so much as look at the vehicle they are abotu to take a trip in will have to use the bathrroom 3 times befiore even settign foot i nthe car- then durign hte trip- you may as well figure, at minumum, on tripling the amount of time to get where you’re going- and that’s just to go down to the corner store for something
LOL! One of my fishing friends who is male is the same way, but he drinks a 12 pack at least!
I worked in a large hospital's ER for many years. We had an OB service and a NICU but, because there was a huge pediatric hospital literally next door,we in the ER never saw kids because the hospital didn't have a pediatric service.
I'm thankful for that because as bad as it is to see a dead 80 year old I know I could never have handled seeing sick kids. But,as I tell my niece (who's a pediatric nurse) "somebody's gotta do it".
Mostly they were just premature....
They got better...and went home.
Thank God for Survanta.......
I now work in a LTAC.....30% of our patients die there.
FWIW-
Ew.
Does the Left have more passion for their cause than the Right?
We are treated to every sordid clinical detail of this media heroine’s effort to get more babies killed, but we learned next to nothing about the conditions in Kermit Gosnell’s death chamber. I can’t take much more of this.
Not nearly as uncomfortable as a millstone.
Yes, indeed. If the letters “T,” “M” and “I” were ever meant to be together, it’s now. Along with that story about the psycho astronaut with the diapers.
You betcha!

Obamacare Ruling: Religious Employers Must Provide Birth Control Coverage
Friday, June 28, 2013 06:03 PM
By: Todd Beamon
The White House ruled Friday that employees of religious-affiliated, nonprofit institutions would receive insurance coverage for birth control under Obamacare, ensuring more legal challenges to the rule.
“[Friday’s] announcement reinforces our commitment to respect the concerns of houses of worship and other nonprofit religious organizations that object to contraceptive coverage, while helping to ensure that women get the care they need, regardless of where they work,” said Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.
Early last year, the Obama administration said that universities, hospitals, and other employers with a religious affiliation could avoid paying directly for contraceptives.
Don’t you hate it when your auto-correct feature replaces ‘skank’ with ‘skunk’? :=)
Get the troops lined up, Governor, and bury this pro-baby killer! Her arguments, like most of the Democrats and their Republicrat allies, stink!
