With our courts as screwed up as they are, I don’t see any situation developing where foreigners remain here and don’t get some sort of pathway to citizenship.
Some judge will say that’s inhuman, and sets up a second class resident situation. It will be struck down just like DOMA was.
Who are they trying to kid? We’re not that stupid.

Were not that stupid.Yes, I have posted the same concern on some thread. If the House passes such a bill ("comprehensive" but without a path-to-citizenship), maybe the best possible outcome would be that the house and senate can't agree on any bill and give up. Obama, and of course the media, are ready to escalate the demagoguery in that case.
