Coulter: Chris Christie's 'Dead to Me'
Breitbart.com ^ | 27 June 2013 | Breitbart Staff

Ann Coulter, who had been one of Gov. Chris Christie's biggest cheerleaders, is a fan no more. She tweeted on Thursday that Christie is "dead" to her after Sen. Jeffrey Chiesa (R-NJ), the Senator whom Christie appointed after the death of Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ), voted to end debate on the Immigration Reform Bill.

She hates liberals as much as anyone and done more to combat them and expose them than almost anyone.

BULL!! You remind me of her when she was pumping up Romney for eight years!

Very cynical view of Ann....and might I add, steeped in a lack of understanding of her career trajectory. I think Ann is just naive about blue state Republicans....and somewhat out of touch with the base (ironic since that’s her base reader too). I do not buy the cynical view of her being a tool of anyone. These big media stars are above that. Sometimes they’re just wrong.....not manipulated.

Republicans do not know who or what they represent. They do not know how to strategize. They do not know how to win.

Coulter was a big supporter of the Budget/Debt Ceiling Cave-in of 2011. I will never forgive her for that.

Don't care about Christie. I do care about how Palin was treated by the republicans. I do care how conservatives are treated by republicans. I do care that republicans stand for nothing now. They can't even explain in simple terms how Obamacare effects the number of hours workers will be allowed to work. I do care how McCain, Rubio, Flake etc. don't let Americans know that employers will be nudged into giving legal illegals jobs! Whatever!

I miss republicans standing for something. I miss character. I miss standing up for the free market. I miss economic growth. I miss being proud of being that shining light on the hill. I miss my fellow Americans being proud of NOT being on Food Stamps. Above all, I miss republicans knowing what it means to be American, to be free, to be a winner, to never ever give up and to relish liberty.

This is called game, set, match.

I lost a lot of respect for you with that statement. Too bad.

Well I disagreed with her on Romney...and Christie. But that doesn’t change the fact that she’s done a lot of good battling against liberals. I know in your tiny little world, the only definition of conservative = a total hatred of all things Mitt, and that’s your right. It’s still a pathetic and absurd definition.

well dang.....since you still don’t even know the discussion we were having, I guess that’s to be expected.

You keep losing the debate, and switching to that which we do NOT disagree on...and wondering why it’s not points on the board for you.

anyone can win a debate no one else is having. IT’s no big mystery that there are awful Republicans who sell their soul and others who capitulate too often. Gee, what is this, breaking news?

However, the debate you joined was not about that. That debate was started by two other posters, and you never got up to speed.

"When it comes to RKBA, I make Ted Nugent look “middle of the road”.

My only two hot-button issues are life and guns. If you do not have an absolute right to life, and the right to defend it, all other rights, arguments and propositions are purely academic. A pol who wants to take away my ability to protect myself and my loved ones is at best ignorant, and thinks he's actually acting in my interests by removing that ability. At worst, he's malignant and the removal of my ability to defend myself is wholly an intentional stepping stone on the path to some greater design.

That's not to say I don't have very strong opinions on most other issues, but I will, to varying degrees forgive or accept a pol's differences on them. The above two are entirely non-negotiable.

Ann just trying to get out in front of the conservative parade again.

She's got a bunch more catching up to do, a bunch.

Coulter is an east-coast liberal elitist who plays a conservative character for a living. A very good living. The act cracks every once in a while.

The twerp governor Chris Christie attended yesterday’s funeral for Tony Soprano, and I thought this is really the best thing he could do with his time for the people of New Jersey was to attend the funeral of some fat slob actor who apparently ate and drank himself to death?

Begin. Ann Coulter is a republican operative.

I will wait to see what she does. Yes, she has busted the liberals though, she has betrayed the conservatives over her career as you have pointed out of her longevity in politics. If that word (betray) is too harsh for you, then fill in what applies to make your day that much nicer. As of now, I am on guard with Ann. I can’t see why that is a problem for you...

I’m always amazed at the people who can’t figure out how she can be friends with Bill Maher. They’re in the same business, the business of entertaining their audiences by saying provocative things. And if they say something that annoys another group, wherever they are on the political spectrum, so much that they make it an issue, that’s just free publicity and more material. They’re opposite sides of the same coin.
