Today, June 28th, is DAY #15 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. [Yesterday] … it was simply not a very good day at all for the prosecution. The primary State witnesses today were Rachel Jeantel, Jenna Lauer, and Selma Mora.
The first had her credibility substantively destroyed, the second was powerfully–almost humiliatingly–co-opted by the defense, and the third provided testimony entirely consistent with the defense’s theory of lawful self-defense. (continue reading)

Good point. “Involved in a shooting” could have meant her husband was shot.
Exactly. I would be just like Zimmerman, calm cool and collected during that time....but would break down later after I came to my senses about what just happened. But, i am just commenting my first impressions.
And, that is what really pisses me off (sorry for the cursing.. I sometimes hit the abuse button for that).. Politics is playing a BIG role here.. and that alone MUST come to the public’s knowledge... sadly, it is over many of their heads :/
its a weird case when you cant try to beat up a witness because he is actually favorable to your case.

The "I shot someone" comment is easy to handle. The witness said he told Zimmerman's wife that Zimmerman was "involved in a shooting". Now, if you told my wife that I was involved in a shooting, the first thing she would think is that I was shot by someone. So the first thing I would want to do is to make sure she knew I was okay. That is all Zimmerman was doing - clarifying for his wife that he was not the one who was shot.
West is ok with the witness he’s just bringing out the details the prosecutor didn’t want to emphasize.
West is very careful.
He got brickbats here during Miss Jeantel’s testimony because he was ultra careful.

Is he trying to be tough on him or get the record straight on what he said at the time of the incident?
The key is for the witnesses original statements to be heard and not the altered version today brings. I don’t see West being tough, that’s just me.
No problem :) This, like I said in another post, is showing on a SMALL scale what is happening to USA today (and for the last 7+ decades)... :/

Yes, thanks....glad to hear that. I’m just commenting on other points of view that could be had if not explained better.
Yet another objection sustained for the prosecution. It never ends! Someone should do a montage of this idiocy.
