Exactly. I would be just like Zimmerman, calm cool and collected during that time....but would break down later after I came to my senses about what just happened. But, i am just commenting my first impressions.

And, that is what really pisses me off (sorry for the cursing.. I sometimes hit the abuse button for that).. Politics is playing a BIG role here.. and that alone MUST come to the public’s knowledge... sadly, it is over many of their heads :/

its a weird case when you cant try to beat up a witness because he is actually favorable to your case.

I feel completely the opposite. He said that George interrupts him on the phone saying ‘just tell her i shot someone’ giving the impression he was almost happy about it. Don’t yell at me, I’m typing what I feel if I was there myself. He also gave the impression that Zimmerman had no remorse, no shock, no adrenalin rush, as if he did this before or was playing a video game. West needs to diffuse that.

The "I shot someone" comment is easy to handle. The witness said he told Zimmerman's wife that Zimmerman was "involved in a shooting". Now, if you told my wife that I was involved in a shooting, the first thing she would think is that I was shot by someone. So the first thing I would want to do is to make sure she knew I was okay. That is all Zimmerman was doing - clarifying for his wife that he was not the one who was shot.

West is ok with the witness he’s just bringing out the details the prosecutor didn’t want to emphasize.

Is he trying to be tough on him or get the record straight on what he said at the time of the incident?

The key is for the witnesses original statements to be heard and not the altered version today brings. I don’t see West being tough, that’s just me.
