Today, June 28th, is DAY #15 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. [Yesterday] it was simply not a very good day at all for the prosecution. The primary State witnesses today were Rachel Jeantel, Jenna Lauer, and Selma Mora.
The first had her credibility substantively destroyed, the second was powerfullyalmost humiliatinglyco-opted by the defense, and the third provided testimony entirely consistent with the defenses theory of lawful self-defense. (continue reading)

Good says Martin was on top straddling #Zimmermanon9 and saw Martin’s arms moving downward. He believes Zimmerman called for help1/2
Then TM would have Z’s blood on his hands, correct? Because z’s nose was extremely bloody
I don’t think anyone got to him. I just think he realizes how much of a target he’s going to be having lost his anonymity, and doesn’t want to say anything that comes across as more opinion than fact.
It’s a ludicrous statement by him as everyone in MMA knows that being on top straddling the guy on the bottom is the dominant position.
I have seen photos or a video of TM street fighting.
West using Lexcuse now to refresh JG’s memory of time elapsed to play Lauer’s 911 call in full — imho more for the benefit of the jury than for JG.
John didn’t help George that night when he called for help and today on the stand he is doing likewise —
>> My take is that JG is just trying to be very fair and accurate, without appearing to favor one side or the other.
Agree.
Did he state his occupation at the beginning? Is he by chance an engineer? We tend to tell the truth and we tend not to leave anything out.
old joke:
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon in the midst of the French Revolution the revolting citizens led a priest, a drunkard and an engineer to the guillotine. They ask the priest if he wants to face up or down when he meets his fate. The priest says he would like to face up so he will be looking towards heaven when he dies. They raise the blade of the guillotine and release it. It comes speeding down and suddenly stops just inches from his neck. The authorities take this as divine intervention and release the priest.
The drunkard comes to the guillotine next. He also decides to die face up, hoping that he will be as fortunate as the priest. They raise the blade of the guillotine and release it. It comes speeding down and suddenly stops just inches from his neck. Again, the authorities take this as a sign of divine intervention, and they release the drunkard as well.
Next is the engineer. He, too, decides to die facing up. As they slowly raise the blade of the guillotine, the engineer suddenly says, “Hey, I see what your problem is ...”
I think he is referring to TM being upright - that is, GZ was flat on the ground while TM was sitting upright on top of him, throwing the punches and beating GZ's head against the ground.
Lexcuse -> excuse
Actually, he was trying to communicate the two aligned with him as opposed to perpendicular. Not sure what actual the correct terminology for that arrangement would be, but it threw me, too, when he started using it. I thought he was saying that they were standing up at first.
Are we hearing the same witness? He's put TM on top, raining down blows and GZ calling for help.
O'Mara played Lauer 911 call, points out that Good's calling out to people in scuffle not heard on the tape. Good gets an attitude. O'Mara assures him he's not doubting Good, just pointing out that his voice is not heard on tape.
he said he’s in finance. same thing :|
Oh, it was a typo? I thought it was just “excuse” in French.
Forensics never tested his hands for blood and never covered them.
LOL. good one.
I thought you were speaking French :)
This guy is in fear of his life and is second guessing and trying to neutralize everything he says....
