Today, June 28th, is DAY #15 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. [Yesterday] … it was simply not a very good day at all for the prosecution. The primary State witnesses today were Rachel Jeantel, Jenna Lauer, and Selma Mora.
The first had her credibility substantively destroyed, the second was powerfully–almost humiliatingly–co-opted by the defense, and the third provided testimony entirely consistent with the defense’s theory of lawful self-defense. (continue reading)

Yes, It's perfectly logical that GZ bashed his own head on the concrete several times in order to provide a plausible explanation for shotting TM....sheesh, these media idiots need to work on their stories.

Well Z did say that T had one hand over his mouth and one over his nose, smothering him, at one point. If that ain’t fear of losing one’s life or life-threatening, I don’t know what is. And that would leave NO marks.
Did that white guy with the slight beard just place GZ *under* TM??? If so,that’s HUGE!!!! Particularly when you add in the photos of GZ and the autopsy report (knuckle injuries,gun shot wound,nothing else)
BS tends to pull for the prosecution at times IMHO. Maybe he feels obligated to do this in order to remain more neutral in his role as a TV station legal analyst.
In any case, JG stepped away to call 911, so the testimony that he did not see something does not imply that something did not happen while he was calling 911. That should be obvious... but then, as has been noted before, this is a weird trial...

Why are you continuing to repeat your same old dire prediction? Really, give it a rest! Unless you have some inside information, you are guessing and it’s getting very old and boring.
GZ on the bottom,suffering the injuries shown in photos taken by the cops minutes after the incident *do* provide a legitimate reason for shooting.
She said she saw them after she heard the gunshot. GZ's own statement said that he got out from under TM after he shot him, and held TM's arms down (not knowing how badly TM was hurt). So the witness's statement is completely consistent with GZ's own account and actually bolsters his story.
Finally, the definitions of vertical and horizontal being explored!
Of course, if they were on the sidewalk when downward punches were being thrown, that would kind of slam Z’s head into the concrete in and of itself, wouldn’t it?
