Today, June 28th, is DAY #15 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. [Yesterday] … it was simply not a very good day at all for the prosecution. The primary State witnesses today were Rachel Jeantel, Jenna Lauer, and Selma Mora.
The first had her credibility substantively destroyed, the second was powerfully–almost humiliatingly–co-opted by the defense, and the third provided testimony entirely consistent with the defense’s theory of lawful self-defense. (continue reading)

So now he’s going to try to make an issue of the witness not having seen Z’s head being slammed into the concrete (I’m guessing this was happening while he went inside to call 911).

THEORETICALLY, when he’s not trying to climb the career ladder ;-) , the state prosecutor’s job is to get at the truth, whatever it may be — not simply to convict.
Morally, ethically, and professionally, he’s kinda obligated to put a super-relevant witness like John on the stand, whether he wants to or not.
I’ll add that John is (IMO) a good witness. Matter of fact, neither cowed nor arrogant, careful. Believable.
Good says cries for help on Lauer 911 call sounded different from cries he heard in person.

How ironic would it be if the prosecution argues that Trayvon was lighter than Zimmerman? They could show that bleached photo of Martin that made the rounds, and frankly Zimmerman seems to have gotten darker as well as fatter since last year.

Like so many of the other RATL witnesses, he has since moved away in the last year or so. I wonder if that is normal.
If not, by moving away, the RATL witnesses seem to be in the process of “battening down the hatches” for a storm to come after the trial is over. And if so, maybe there is little love lost between the prosecution and many of the RATL witnesses.
Every single thing about this case screams reasonable doubt. So much so that only an idiotic or rigged jury would find otherwise. And I think that is what we will get.
Had T ever taken classes in MMM technique? If so can’t they use that as an opening to his past !

I disagree that State is messing up. He is doing a masterful job of getting the Defense’s star witness saying that GZ was not having his head slammed into concrete. This is important because if he wasn’t in ‘fear of great bodily harm’... there would not be reason to kill TM if it was just a fight.
I seem to remember that one of his "videos" - either posted on Facebook or in his phone - has him involved in some type of fighting and he discusses how many "rounds" he fought with someone.....
NOt only that....but when someone is sitting on your chest, you can’t breathe....

Remember this witness doesn’t provide the injuries with the fight. I’m commenting on this particular witness and was pointing out what the State was trying to do, in light of comments that they were ‘messing up’. And remember, forget everything you know and think of what does the jury know to this point. And from this witness, there was no reason for the shooting. However, future witnesses— may provide reason. And that’s why GZ HAS TO TESTIFY
