Today, June 28th, is DAY #15 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. [Yesterday] … it was simply not a very good day at all for the prosecution. The primary State witnesses today were Rachel Jeantel, Jenna Lauer, and Selma Mora.
The first had her credibility substantively destroyed, the second was powerfully–almost humiliatingly–co-opted by the defense, and the third provided testimony entirely consistent with the defense’s theory of lawful self-defense. (continue reading)

The state has a weekend to look at their case and weep.

In his opening statement, West pointed out that his instructor said GZ was “soft, not athletic.”
Hope the defense brings that up again...or perhaps they will put the instructor on the witness stand eventually. I would think so since the prosecution is always emphasizing this “MMA” crap.

And the state will no doubt be working furiously to drum up some desperation move over the weekend (think October surprise). They are even catching flack from some leftie media commentators at this point. Something I thought I would never see in this case.
So, Z was supposed to lie there and think about whether his injuries were life threatening while Saint Trayvon was on top of him, and every time he punched him, he was supposed to add that punch to the total, until the sum total of his injuries became life threatening?

It is the OJ trial in reverse. OJ got off. Blacks were happy and whites did not riot. In this trial, GZ must be found guilty or blacks will riot. Blacks will, also, riot if he is found innocent.

The prosecution is simply not prepared and they have not done the due diligence necessary to designate the portions of the record they want admitted prior to the cut off of discovery.
I can't decide if the prosecution is deliberately blowing this case or if they are incompetent beyond belief.
I wonder how the MSM would respond if he’s convicted and the celebration riots are much larger than the LA Rodney King riots were.

I’m going to miss it, too. I only have a doctor’s appointment, and I hope I DON’T need surgery. It sucks getting old.
I'm thinking it's a combination of both. They are dreadfully incompetent...because they have no case to work with, yet they chose to prosecute ANYWAY. At this point all they can do is blow the case and make it appear like incompetence.

Most MMA matches that i’ve witnessed windup with a winner and a loser.
Both maybe well trained well but one will lose. I know a few guys that workout but never compete. I have serious doubts as to Zman actual participating in MMA.
If so, why are they permitted in the courtroom and not Mr.Zimmerman's parents?
I thought GZ’s parents were barred from the courtroom because they may testify.
