this also applies in the Prop 8 case. How is it a republican form of government when one man can by fiat override the will of the people? But that’s what happens when the governor (or the Attorney General) can on his/her own authority simply decide not to defend a law passed by the people.

In fact, the APPLICANT to the job must have U.S. citizenship already; the job ads say “U.S. Citizenship REQUIRED”
