On Morning Joe today, Jonathan Capehart hailed the loud protest in the Texas Capitol gallery by pro-abortion rights advocateswhich prevented the state senate from voting on a pro-life billas an example of "democracy in action."
Joe Scarborough countered that if pro-life protesters had done the same, people on MSNBC and elsewhere would be calling them an "angry, unruly mob." Interestingly, New York Times reporter Jeremy Peters agreed with Scarborough, saying he was "absolutely right." Capehart had no rebuttal.

Would Capehart be calling it “democracy in action” if the tables were turned? Ping to Today show list.
Lies upon lies.
Thugocracy from out of state anarchists.
Additionally Planned Parenthood’s paid mouth lied when she said that it would close virtually every abortion clinic in the state.
There will be another vote. Their stunt will just cost the state more money as we hold another session.
Yeah a mob full of out-of-staters subverting the will of the people of Texas, yep that’s real Democracy. /s
Thank God for Governor Perry.
Was the California Supreme Court ruling a constitutional amendment (voted overwhelmingly by 70% of black voters) “unconstitutional” democracy in action? How about the elected governor refusing to uphold his office and defend that amendment?
If votes to amend are worthless, your vote is worthless.

They can pat themselves on the back all they want but it’s still going to pass.
Malcolm X wannabee.
Wonder if we will see more chicken Dees leaving the state.
Looks more like a RuPaul wannabe.
This time lock them out.
Lol. Well, that makes sense. He/she/it is on PMSNBC.
Hey Capehart, sorry - but dismembering a viable 5 month old baby in it’s own mother’s womb is just barbaric. What don’t you get? How is that women’s health? You people are sick.
There’s already been more posts on this thread than there are Morning Joe viewers.
It is Austin. You’ll need to build a wall.
This a$$wipe missed the day they taught the word “anarchy.”
One of the provisions required that abortion clinics be located within 30 miles of a hospital so that women who suffer a botched abortion can get medical help, rather than the runaround from persons’ who’s profession is designed to kill, not heal.
This woman is ANTI-WOMAN’S HEALTH.
Never heard of him before, but I’ll bet he voted for 0.
