Here is the phone call timeline — the Jeantel/Martin calls and the Zimmerman NEN call and the first 911 call:

Jeantel described the “cracker” as following Martin before her phone call disconnected and she had to call back. But Zimmerman was still in the vehicle and on line with the NEN when that took place.
