Do we need to take a blood test or pee in a cup to post on this thread? ;-]
An easy target, like Boston.
This year the first stage is not really a “prologue” - a short time-trial - but an actual stage, 213 KM long. Although the first half of the stage has some hilly areas, it’s considered a sprinter’s stage.
Drugador, err, Contador in the race this year?
Looking forward to it!
DVR ready to go!
When I was on Parris Island in 1989 my girlfriend recorded the Tour for me. I was a Greg LeMond fan long before anyone was a Lance Armstrong fan. My girlfriend liked Dag-Otto Lauritzen
Le Tour Ping!
It’s a shame Bradley Wiggins can’t be there this year.
I’m expecting the strongest of 2012 to repeat in 2013. Cavendish is now a team leader so that will interesting.
Can’t wait! I was going to do my own personal boycott because of the Armstrong mess, but then I saw him riding through my neighborhood and started getting the fever again. Then I watched the NBCSports special 100 Years of the Tour de France and I decided to give it up. I’m hooked. Tonight I plan to watch the preview and tomorrow I’ll be wearing my yellow t-shirt to work. (Yes, I’m a dork)
I can’t believe I went from never again to I can’t wait! Lol. I figure if Lance can still ride (in my hood) then I can still watch. Lol
I love to hate Contador and I like Cadel. It’s a new Tour.
Tour de France is racist for obvious reasons.....but...... It’s always cool seeing the French countryside and mountains on TV and the men trying to conquer them.
Excellent job, and it was a fabulous three weeks (which always goes by too fast).
Glad to see Great Britain's Chris Froome win Le Tour... he deserved the win, and is an admirable and humble athlete. I'm also glad that doper Alberto Contador never ended up on the podium in Paris (although he did for his team win).
I noticed many of the French pro-traditional marriage flags along all 20 stages of the TdF this year, and also many of England's Cross of St. George flags. I'm not sure if the Cross of St. George flags were flying just for British national pride, or maybe they convey sort of a subtle "Don't Tread on Me" message from British citizens toward Islamic terrorism (scotsman, can you help me out here?).
Anyway... hearty congratulations to Chris Froome to and all of the TdF winners!
