BTW, I had a chance meeting w/ one of the Hawaiian Pro-Gay Marriage top advocates in the late 1990's and I was convinced then it was all about the bennies....

Remove the tax incentives with the FairTax, get the government out of paying for health care, end retirement Ponzi schemes, close government schools and there really isn’t much left to fight about.
Isn’t it ironic, they are clammering for bennies that are broke, i.e. SSI, Medicare, Medicade etc etc etc. It is like being the king of wishful thinking. These programs need re-engineering and or privatization or insert buzzword here, but are they getting an empty bowl in the long run?
These programs will empty the bowl for all of us because our income and welfare is measured in the dollars we earn. The same dollars they will print until worthless because they will not prioritize, cap, and budget these welfare programs that are paid out in dollars the government does not possess.
America needs to wake up and understand our fate is interwoven with the dollar and the dollar is interwoven with government debt, spending, and quantitative easing that = welfare for the banks and stock market.
I am absolutely convinced that the root of many of our social problems lie in our monetary system. Money defines a society. Get rid of the Federal Reserve, and you cut off Progressive control of Government and long-term funding for their social engineering schemes. Consequently, 1000 socials ills few would have imagined are connected to our financial system begin the process of righting themselves.
Screw it. Let them have the benefits, it will bankrupt the welfare state faster. I’m beginning to think that Clovard-Piven inadvertently handed us the only viable strategy to kill off the welfare state. We’ve tried pretty much everything else.
What you say is so true...let’s extend the logic of today’s thinking: Identity is now anything you want yourself to be. A man can now declare himself to be a male lesbian (woman trapped inside a man’s body that likes other women) and reap all the Federal/Liberal benefits - and sue anyone who gets in the way - and $$$WIN !
That’s where the Immigration bill comes in, every ponzi scheme needs a new layer of suckers.
