Balance of power can be razor thin. We need all the help we can get even if it is mostly lip service.

One less RINO to help Bhoner. Not a bad thing.

How's that Markey victory party going? Did you guys know that Markey has been elected to the Senate? Nothing to do with the Speaker of the House. No matter, party on dude.

Guess the Scott Brown and Sean Bielat endorsements didn’t help.

That would be true if the Repubs voted as Repubs. They don’t do that. There is no balance of power. There is GOP voting for lib causes most of the time. See Immigration for what happens when we elect unprincipled RINOs.

Can there be a better example of why electing more of them is simply cutting our own throats?

The founders had more more sense than you, but then I’m interrupting your victory celebration.

Just stop ducking and answer the question. Were the founders wrong that it is better to have an enemy before you than in your ranks or not?

Instead of mocking, try answering the question. Or can’t you?

Anyone would be better than Markey, who is a uber lib.He doesn't deserve to be honored with a higher position. He needs to go home.

But this is MA.

Yeah, but amnesty? fag marriage? gun control?

Any Republican supporting that garbage is a worthless scumbag as far as I’m concerned. Does the Senate need another GOP open-borders traitor? Or a degenerate piece of filth that embraces fag marriage? I’m glad Gomez lost, and I hope he goes straight to hell, where he belongs.

I have more than answered your silly question. The magic of our Republican system has always been the ability of a minority to convince a majority to support their ideas and agenda and to advance the cause of freedom and liberty. The majority of this country during the Revolution supported the King or were neutral. The founders convinced them to support their radical ideas and we became a free nation.

You have no clue how they did this and would rather champion Mr. Markey, one of the most despicable communists ever to inhabit the planet.

I despise Democrats. I will never support a Democrat. I will never vote for a Democrat. I will never respect any idiot who finds some convoluted rationale to cheer a victory by one of these disgusting little swine. But, you are not alone here at Free Republic in doing so. It has become rather commonplace. Quite a legacy you’ve got going.

No you did not. To say you did a a flat out lie. Prove you did. Point to your agreement or disagreement. Not a duck/dodge.

You can’t. We all see that.

Just stop ducking and answer the question. Were the founders wrong that it is better to have an enemy before you than in your ranks or not?

Markey wins but Gomez made a credible race out of it.
Massachusetts is so far gone that it will probably never come back. Markey has been around the House of Representatives forever and has spent his entire career promoting all leftist causes and trying to ruin our once great nation. Markey looks and sounds like a character right out of Charles Dickens or Nathaniel Hawthorne. What a lost cause.

What’s the difference?

There's a big difference. The progressive saboteurs of the GOP have proven to be far, far more destructive.

“Markey has been around the House of Representatives forever and has spent his entire career promoting all leftist causes and trying to ruin our once great nation.”

Read that over and over Centurion316. Then tell the class again that it is bad that he lost.

Ah, yes. The “Republican” who is pro-amnesty, pro-fag marriage, and pro-gun control.

I hope the creep loses.

It is Massachusetts. We either get the nut Democrat that votes 100% with Obummer or we get a RINO that we can count on sometimes. I would rather have the RINO myself. It is voters like you that have stayed the last year and gave us another term of Democrat rule.

And voters like you filled congress with the very RINOS that are about to pass amnesty and end America. Thanks.

I can see that you are not interested in having a discussion, you just want to throw out bait.

So, which founder said it? When? What was the contecxt/ Google doesn’t help, so I am completely reliant on your vast knowledge and wisdom.

I am sad to see the roller coaster hater (http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/340033/ed-markey-s-peculiar-crusade-charles-c-w-cooke) elected to the Senate.

Scott Brown could have won this seat in spite of the fact that he is a political pansy. I met Gomez, not impressed but I voted for him anyway.
Markey is a national butthole, reminds me of my hemorrhoidal 13 year old dog.
