Yes there is.
One of the travesties of the so-called “progressive” era was the 17 amendment. This took away power of the state legislatures to elect their US Senators.
Because repeal of the 17th amendment is unlikely, the perfect solution (a beautiful work-around), would be a new 28th amendment that would allow any state to recall its US senator, to be invoked at the discretion of that state’s legislature whenever it was deemed that interests of the state were no longer represented. The interim vacancy would be filled either by appointment by the governor or election by the state legislature in accordance with the State constitution. The popular election of U.S. senators every 6 years per the 17th amendment would not be affected.
What a perfect work-around! Re-call US senators could be accomplished, not by popular vote but by the State Legislatures (more like the original power). AZ McCain & Flake would be accountable. Ratification would of course require approval by 3/4 state legislatures.
The states were supposed to have a seat at the table, not just the citizens, no doubt about it.
It would be a major victory to remove him from the Senate. Nothing will happen because the people no longer matter to the emperor or the politburo.

I just looked it up and found that 18 states plus the District of Columbia have provisions for recalling a Senator. The DU people once tried to recall McCain for being too much of a hawk. That was in 2007.
You cannot recall a Federal officeholder. Period.
Answer: Larger numbers of Arizonans without their head up their a$$. They had a chance to nominate a decent man in 2010. They opted not to. Here we are, right where I promised them we would be, McCain blurring the issues 24/7/365/6.
D.C. doesn't have a Senator.
And no state may recall a sitting U.S. Senator -- even if they have a provision for the recall of elected state officials.
State laws do not apply to elected federal officials. The only way that a sitting U.S. Senator or Congressman may be removed is by a 2/3 expulsion vote by his Chamber. The only way a Present may be removed is via impeachment by the House and conviction by the Senate.
There is no recall of federal elected officials. Federal courts have dismissed every attempt to so so for over 200 years.
Republicans in Arizona would be better off immediately changing their party affiliation to independent. The RNC will get the message...
Not many things would please me more than seeing John McCain tossed out on his a$$.
McCain has Big Beer money, and rich RINO backers who want amnesty for cheap labor. I don’t know how the heck we can beat him.
You still have to have enough men on the street to vote for you.
It think this bastard has offended enough people, that it maybe doable, firing him.
” It think this bastard has offended enough people, that it maybe doable, firing him.”
McCain pranced around AZ, promising to seal the borders. You can just imagine how popular he is around here right now : )
Good. I hope it haunts him...
McCain has been warned not to show himself in public here.
I don’t want to see anyone do something to him, but he should be called whatever they want every time they do see him. He’s deserves that.
” he should be called whatever they want every time they do see him”
Oh yes!
Arizona constitution allows for recalls of ALL elected officials in the state; whether local, state, or federal elected officials.
