A protester has emerged from an oil pipeline at a southern Michigan construction site, ending a protest that lasted about 10 hours.
The Battle Creek Enquirer reports that Calhoun County Sheriff Matt Saxton says the man emerged about 5 p.m. Monday. Thirty-five-year-old Chris Wahmhoff was first reported inside the pipe about 6:45 a.m.

pathetic pipeline protest ping
The Dunkin’ Donuts ran out.
Did his Mommy tell him it was time to come home for dinner?
A 35 year old, professional protester, aka perpetually unemployed bum .......I’m sure his parents are really proud.
I was guessing his flashlight battery went dead.
Yesterday I read an article that said he used a skateboard to go 2 miles into the pipeline.
The dipstick came out at 6PM, almost as promised. I guess it was time for din din?

Enbridge protester emerges from pipeline 'in good health'

Kalamazoo man goes from decontamination to jail
He was down there 10 hours, Sheriff Matt Saxton said. He advised us early in the morning he would come out about 5 p.m., and he came out almost at 5 p.m.
He was dirty but he appeared to be in good health, Saxton said. He was happy. It was bright in the sun but I think he is happy to be out.
Saxton said Wahmhoff was put through decontamination at the work site because of chemicals in the interior coating of the pipe. He was taken from the scene in a Marshall Firefighters ambulance to Oaklawn Hospital for a check and then would be questioned by detectives before he was taken to the county jail....
Jason Manshum, a spokesman for Enbridge, said the pipe is part of a five-mile replacement section being completed. Workers were about to connect it to the original line.
He said the protest meant a lost day of work on the project. He said Enbridge and the pipeline construction crews will inspect the line to insure Wahmhoff did not damage it....
And they didn’t start flooding the pipe with water, WHY ???
Hydrotests cost money. They wait until completed or it leaks.
;-)
Give me two ball peen hammers and I’d have him out of there in a jiffy.
If he really wants to prove that the pipeline causes all the problems published then he should be better so show life without oil, food, shelter....
This “protester” proves that he is such a complete loser. Shouldn’t they arrest the idiot and fine him the cost of any damage and lost work day? I bet his mother (I’m sure he lives in her basement) is really proud of this complete moron. He’s 35 and “took his skateboard” into the pipe. Shouldn’t this delayed-maturation cretin maybe get a job, rather than riding his skateboard?
Photos of the great Embridge protest of 2013. LOL

I think there we a total of 6 sign carriers.
Who’s talking Hydrotesting ?? I’m talking CLOG REMOVAL (evil grin)
This clown was essentially protesting against safety and progress. They do more harm than good because they drive up costs and cause corner cutting.
In fact the original spill investigation determined one thing these idiots never mention. Among other things, the investigation found that the state didn’t even have the required inspector on the payroll and hadn’t for nearly a decade.
I’ll betcha a couple of M-80’s would do the trick as well.
Send a pig through that’ll get him out.
